Tessa from Country at Heart put out a survey on her blog and I was one of the one’s asked to do the survey. Thank you for the survey Tessa, Here are my results.

Yes I am. :)

I do not remember.

3. What is you favorite Bible verse?

Proverbs 15:1.

4. Who is your favorite Old Testament character?

I really do not think I have a favorite character but one who is inspiring to me is Esther.

Paul.

Thank you Tessa for the quiz, here are my answers. :)

1- Grab the book nearest to you and turn to page 18 and find line 4

Nothing, it is just in mid air.

3- What is the last thing you watched on TV?
We do not have television.

6- With the exception of the computer, what do you hear?
Blocks falling that my younger sisters, and a friend, are playing with. Also, they are talking. The song Amazing Grace (classical) is playing on our I-pod and the clicking of computer keys

 A little bit ago I stepped out to watered some grass.

8-When you started this survey what did you look at?
The computer screen.

9- What are you wearing?
I am wearing a log denim skirt and a Black shirt. My hair is in a braid wrapped into a bun, fastened with a clip and several bobby pins, at the back of my neck.

10- What did you dream of last night?
I do not remember.

11- When did you last laugh?
A few minutes ago.

12- What is on the walls of the room you are in?

A white cloak with shelves. On the shelves are a pink tea cup, a bell and two containers holding dried flowers. There are three framed cross stitch pictures that my Nanna made. A pink clock, a wooded picture of a few roses, and a picture of nine hearts that have verses from 1 Corinthians 13.

A farm for my family and I. We would love to have goats, chickens, horses and maybe a cow. A lot of land, a large garden, fruit trees and shade trees.

I have long thick brown hair.

Two smiley faces in the Bible

I found the first smiley face in Psalm 7:4 when I was reading though all of the Psalms that David wrote and I found the other by doing a search on our Bible software to see if there was any more. I thought it was very strange and amusing to find two smiley faces in the Bible. :) Today when I was looking for the verse’s on our bible software I found out that it is not all versions of the bible are the same, for example the ESV may not have smiley faces in the same places as the KJV. The KJV is where I found the smiley faces.

I don’t know if there are others in other versions of the Bible, I have not tried to look. :) Here are the verses: 

“If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy :)” Psalm 7:4 

“But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)” Romans 10:6

My name is Bethany, I am 14 years old. I have medium brown hair and green eyes. I live in Arizona with my family. I have been homeschooled all of my life and I am glad. I have been blessed with two wonderful parents and three loving sisters. I am the second of 4 sisters. My eldest sister is 16 years old, her name is Rebekah and she has a blog called The Lord's Daughter. My others two sisters are 7 and 5.

We have many animals: three cats, (one female and two males) one male dog, one male desert tortoise and two fish. Our female cat is named Keziah. She is about 12 years old. She is black and white like a cow. She is very small and light weight. One of our male cats is named Solomon. He is about 10 years old. He is all black except a little bit of white hair on his chest. Our other male cat is named Elias. He is only two years old. He is gray, black, tan and white. Our Dog is a pure bred Beagle and he is about 9 months old. Our Desert Tortoise is 11 years old. He is about the size of a lunch plate. Our fish are zebra fish. They are about two years old and we think one is a male and one is a female.

We have a big garden and I love to take pictures of the flowers that grow in it. I plan to post some of the pictures that I take. :)
