Another Pattern:

Materials:  No. 10 thread

Size 6 hook

53 6mm faceted beads  (59  if not using larger bead)

6 8mm faceted beads

Before you do anything, string the beads on the thread  — 59 beads if you are not using 2 sizes or as follows:  10 6mm, 1 8mm, 10 6mm, 1 8mm,

10 6mm, 1 8mm, 10 6mm, 1 8mm. 10 6mm, 1 8mm,

3 6mm 1 8mm.

Make cross as per directions on left.  DO NOT finish off but proceed as follows:

Ch 5, slide bead next to hook, ch 5, slide bead, ch 3, slide bead, ch 3, slide bead, ch 5, slide bead, chain 9, 4 trc in 4th ch from hook.  Ch 5, *slide bead, ch 3 (continued will there are 10 beads) ch 5, slide bead, ch 5.  Repeat from * till you have 5 groups of 10 beads with 1 larger bead in between.  After last bead, ch 5, sl st into 4th st of first trc and sl st in each trc across.  Finish off.

Dip rosary in water.  Stretch and let dry.  This stretches the rosary.  You may dab a little stiffer on the cross and on the trc group.
