Firefly Evenings

I ran across a contest for some beautiful beaded jewelry.  Go to Multi-tasking Moms Blogspot and check out the details.  You could win a beautiful necklace from Bead-attitude.  Basically, you need to share a story about your most romantic time with your husband since your kids came into your life.

Here's mine:

One late summer evening, Olivia (1) and Bailey (3) fell asleep unusually early.  Probably around 6:30.  So, after a quiet dinner together, my husband and I turned off all the lights in the house, pulled some club chairs up to face the big window in the front of our condo that overlooked my little wildflower garden.  We sat for hours in the cool breeze from the window and just talked and talked.  We talked about our little family, our dreams for the future, and, more importantly we drew straws to see who would get up at the crack of dawn with the kids.   Eventually the sun set and the fireflies hovered over the garden.  It was one of those spontaneous evenings that I will never forget.
