The Wedding

Donny and Erika's wedding was very special. The lights dim and the church is illuminated with lovely candles. Pastor Philbrick steps out of his office and onto the stage. Everyone is anticipating the bride and groom and the wedding party who are about to assemble on the stage with him. As the excitement builds, Pastor Philbrick takes the time to share the written testimonies of Erika and Donny. When he finishes he shares a devotional with the guests who filled the pews. You can hear a pin drop. He has everyone's attention. It is very effective. Usually, this is done with the wedding party present. It is more meaningful to do it without them. It set the tone for a wonderful evening. Here's the happy couple.  |
