My Mentor Friend Rosie...
OH.MY.GOODNESS!!! I got to spend the afternoon with one of my MOST FAVORITE PEOPLE on the planet. I LOVE my Rosie!!! Anyone that has read me for a long time might remember my post I wrote on my friend Rosie Jones. She is the lady that got me started baking bread. She is the "real live and in flesh" Proverbs 31 woman in my life. She is a weaver and baker. She spins her own yarn and her children all have learned trades and skills that allow them to use their hands to be creative.
She came today, to talk to women from age 12 to 112 (ok, so nobody was actually that old there today). She shared about grain. She shared about bread. She shared about nutrition and feeding our families. She shared about being mothers and wives. She shared about God. She shared about Hebrew and the Bible. She shared about her children and husband. She shared about things God has taught her and shown her. She loved us. She really LOVED on us today!!! She inspired me to be a better woman. She inspired me to be a better Christian. She inspired me to be a better student. Did I mention that I LOVE HER?!?! Gonna have to make a plan to go out to see her and spend the day, SOON...
One more day of conference and we, our family, are performing in the morning worship time tomorrow. Please pray for us! Thanks!!!
