Prattling Pastor's Wife

My deepest gratitude...

Posted in Thankfulness
Thanks so much for praying for us!  Josh was still running fever this morning and it was higher than it had been all week (103*F).  I made an appointment for the doctor and he officially has strep throat!!!  I am so glad to have an answer for this crazy fever he has run all week.  The medicine was only $10.00.  We started the antibiotics...

We still have no washer and will be waiting until another payday to fix it.  In the meantime Dan and JoNathan are going to be washing on Saturdays while I take kids to gymnastics classes.  We can get everything clean and dried in one day, not have to drag everyone down to wash and then just go easy on wearing too much during the week.  This will be good for us - I think... ;)

I also did really well on my test last night.  One more unit (four chapters) before the midterm and all that we were tested on yesterday will be on it, too.  I will just keep reviewing everything as I go and should be able to retain it all.  God has done amazing things in allowing me to get back into the swing of being a student so quickly.  This is all TOTALLY orchestrated by the LORD!!!!!

I am trusting HIM for the washer issues, the car issues, the school issues and the kids health issues.  He is teaching me to trust more each day...

Have a lovely weekend and I will see you on Monday if not at some point in the weekend.  ...more studying this weekend for assignments due Monday.  :)

I tried to call earlier...but you were at the doc. Sorry about the little man! But glad he's gonna be all better now.

Now of course, you know we'll be back on Sunday (assuming that's God's plan too of course) so you are always welcome to come do laundry at my house and enjoy my famous hospitality!!

Love ya!!

Welcome to my home on the web! I am a 40 year old SAHM (14 years), homeschooling mom (8 years) and pastor's wife (18 years) who is embarking on becoming a chef/pastry chef, and starting a small business while my husband is teaching school, pastoring and working on his doctorate in ministry. We are busy, busy, busy... but I still make time to share all of that and more here. Thanks for stopping by and please come again... :)
