I think I used this title once before but it seems to be a recurring theme in my life lately. Dan and I have come to, what Henry Blackaby would call, a "crisis of belief". It is the moment you realize that God has allowed you to be at a fork in the road and only by looking to Him will you take the right path. We are there and it is scary to say the least...
In deep marriage conversation last night (won't share what cause that is our business - ;) ) we came to a point of earnest prayer. We needed some reassurance that God is going to work all of this out and that He is still totally in control. I awoke to those reassurances today... We are thankful for the reminders of God's constant love in the midst of our crisis. We are grateful for the privilege we have to come before the Father to lay it all before Him and even ask for such assurances. He is our Assurance in the midst of what life throws at us...
Maybe God will bring me to a point of sharing all of this sometime but for now...
He has provided for us this day...
* Our taxes have been filed - God is VERY GOOD!!!
* Our yearly bread supply is paid in full
* We are being allowed to attend a Pastor's and Wives retreat in a few weeks for a refreshing get-away and we have a sitter for the kiddos.
* He has stocked our freezer
* He is providing for us to attend our local homeschool conference
* We have a week to purge and clean our home
* We have friends that lift us up in prayer and want to spend time with us
* We have a roof over our heads
* We have clothing for our backs and the backs of our children
* We have a BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL FAMILY!!!!!
GOD IS SO GOOD TO HIS CHILDREN IN THE MIDST.....
