Hi

Why havn't you posted in forever, Mariel? I mean, everyone's waiting for something to read! Shame on you for not posting in...um...well actually, I'm the one that hasn't posted for so long...
Anyhoo,
Me, Coie, and Dad are  taking Scottish dancing lessons and I enjoy it so much. We enjoy spinning everyone really fast.  Someone got Coie off of her feet! It's a lot of fun. I think it would be lots more fun if you would just HURRY UP AND MOVE OUT HERE and joined the Scottish dancing. When I finished that last sentence a guy from English country dancing called (we might take those classes too). I didn't  pick up the phone, but I heard the message. If we take English Dancing classes we go every other saturday, if we go this saturday it will  be our first time. Scottish Dancing is every Monday. Both places are an hour away. The Scottish dancing ends at 9 PM so we get home pretty late.
Well, I really miss you.

Indeed, Ryann? Such bragging....temper, temper!

So, you know Japanese, Spanish, Piglatin, and a little English and Giberish? Well, I am going to show amazingly good form and shower graciousness upon you-well, all right, I shall speak in your sort of 'English'. In short, I am not going to say anything whatsoever about the languages I know or rub-it-in on you in any way-therefore showing my wonderful goodness.

Okay, Laugh Out Loud! That was hilarious! I find such fun in laughing!

I must exit now on account of bed-time very soon.

Though We May Be Apart, We Are Friends Forever!

Hey Mariel and Blog readers!

I had tons of fun the day before yesterday. The barn dance was great. Thank You Austins, for setting that up.

We met a family called the Blacks and they're missionaries to Ethiopia! The whole barn dance was put together for them. A lot of the people were helping the Blacks raise money to help the Ethiopians. I sold 4 washclothes in 1 set with a bar of soap.
After the Blacks told everyone about Ethiopia and all that we began the barn dance, which was a ton of fun.
I learned a couple of new dances. but there was one I couldn't do because there were a bunch of 5 and 6 year olds that wouldn't pay attention to the person teaching us how to do the dance. So, I kind of bummed because that dance looked fun. Another dance I couldn't do because there were'nt enough people in my group to do it. But it was a ton of fun doing the Virginia Reel and another one I learned called the backtrack something or other.

I danced with Veronica Gonzalez for a while (I was supposed to be the boy) and each time I passed my aunt  she would say "Oh, Annie, that's so cute" (or some thing like that).

Later,  Timothy Estabrooks
comes to me and asks me to dance with him. That was fun. Me and Timothy did the Virginia Reel and at the end of the dance, he looks at his left shoulder with a confused look on his face, takes something off of it and holds it out to me and says "Is this yours?" I looked at it and it was my name tag that was on MY left shoulder. LOL! I assumed that happened while we were doing the dosie doe because everytime we did that we accedentally bumped in to eachother.
Then we did the backtrack something or other and with that dance you switch partners. But you don't know who your next parner will be. (hard to explain)
I have no idea who Paull  was dancing with  but when  we  got stuck  together he seemed SO happy. He was like "Ryann, oh my gosh, YES! I'm so happy!". I guess he was sick of dancing with people he hardly knew. So being his cousin made all the difference, I assume. Either that or he was dancing with Luke or Hi-Ya.

I also danced with Joy Austin and Jacob Austin. I don't think Jacob liked the Virginia Reel to much though.lol.

Every once in a while (I think I was dancing with Timothy when this happened) I would look over into another dance group that my parents were in, and, Oh gee, you wouldn't believe me if I told you that JENIG was causing total CHAOS would you? well it's true, my parents were doing the most hilarious things you could think of doing. They were bum-bustering eachother and jumping everywhere. They  were  acting as if they had come from the south or something LOL!
No, my parents are great dancers. Mr. Gonzalez was break dancing and Uncle Paul put his  hands in his armpits and put one leg up in front of him and flapped his arms(trying to be a rooster).Uncle Paul says he's working on the cockle doodle doo. LEVISUAREZ seemed embarrassed because of what uncle Paul was doing. Finally, he says, "Dad, what are you doing? Your totally embarrassing me (he was joking). And Uncle Pauls reply was "What? That's why I'm here, to embarrass my kids!"
Anyways, that was fun.
I think that post is long enough.
I'll post again soon.

Show off, just because you know latin doesn't mean your smarter than me...

After all, I know Japanese, Piglatin, Spanish, and a little bit of english and Giberish.

 connecting to the post below...
Me and Hannah get along so well. Why, you ask? Well, nobody really knows for certain. Maybe because we both have MI and need a catscan (what ever that is)
Mariel, you probably shouldn't let them know that MI means, ...um...Mental...uh...Iballs...that works well enough.

Anyways, what have you been doing lately? I've been watching James all day. Did you know Emmiko got a new cat? I might have told you that already.
I am supercalifagilistically bummed you won't be there for the barn dance!
We're going to Michagan in a couple weeks.
I'm going to get off now, Coie just got home,
Love you,
Your total MI friend,
Ryann MI Igarashi

Unus...Duo...

....In case you don't know, the above title is Latin for "one" and "two". As this is my second post, and my sister and I are studying ecclesiastical Latin, (in other words, Christian Latin) I thought it was only fitting that I post this as my title.

That aside, I would like to tell you what to expect from this blog. First, our personalities-as you will see, they play a big part in what we write! From Ryann, I can say that there will definently be some more jokes posted by her some time in the future, as she has a playfulness about her that is hard to resist! Myself, though while I am a lot like her, there is a serious and contemplating side to me. In other words, I am a deep thinker. I am, though, a being who aDORes laughing! In my family, I consider it my job to keep people laughing and 'in good humor' as it were. You will most likely hear responses to one another, to readers who had questions, little jests put to one another and often posts about events. Yet, be that as it may, I shall say that we might post about our opinions, and while we don't mind negative feedback-that is, disagreement-but there is at least one rule that is required of commenters:

Rule: There will be no 'spam', bad language or this-not-this-is-how-it-is-and-I-won't-take-anything-else-from-you.

There, that's taken care of, now you know what the rule is, annnd I must go as it is...8:16 p.m. Wednesday, over here in California and Daddy wants me to 'wrap it up'. So farewell, dear Readers!

Namarie!

Ryann here...

Just updating here with a few quick jokes and small information...

A man was walking down the street in Texas and he saw a sign that said "worlds best chili" so he went inside and asked for a bowl of chili, the cashier replied "no, sorry, just sold the last bowl to that guy over there. The man saw that he wasn't eating what was in the bowl so he went over and asked for it. the guy told him he could hve it. So the man ate it and found a dead mouse  at   the bottom of the bowl, and threw up into the bowl. the guy that first had the chili looked over and nuged him, "yeah, I did the same thing"

Sorry, that was gross. But I had to post that one, LOL.

I have to go now, I'll post a better joke later...
Ryann

ps the info is that I now have headgear. NOT FUN, lol!

(Mariel here)

Welcome to our blog! This is my first post here and, wow! Ryann and her lovely sister Coie really did a good job setting it up! They did all the work, I just helped think of the names. (Username, Blog description, Blog title, etcetera, etcetera and so forth) Thank you, girls, it looks beautiful!

As Ryann has said, this is to be our blog together and, also like she said, this is  a great way to communicate with each other since we are not able to call very often. Both of us have another blog on HSB, this is mine and this is hers, and she is also sharing a blog with Levi, her cousin and best friend who also lives in Tennessee. We love blogging and hope this blog will help us to be able to talk more.

A great event has happened today! Yes, this day, September 25th, was chosen by the One who knows all, for my birthday and today is the twelfth time that I have used it! I will try to update later on how my b-day was, so please stick around, it's not over yet! My unbelieveingly loving parents gave me my presents earlier (it is morning over here in CA)....but, ok, I know I'm making you suffer from suspense but you will have to wait till the official birthday description if you want to know what they were!

Well, that's all for now. G'bye and have a fabulous day!

God Bless you all!

Across the Country

***Ryann Here***

Mariel and I have been best friends since last year.  We don't get to talk on the phone every day which is preferable, so we started this blog to write to each other instead. Mariel lives in California while my aunt's family and mine moved to Tennessee from California.

We will post whenever we can.

About Us
This blog is from two different perspectives (Best Friends) from each side of the country. We had been best friends for a 1 year and then Ryann and her family and cousins moved out to Tennessee leaving her best friend Mariel behind. Ryann thought it would a good idea to start a blog together because we can't talk on the phone everyday (which is preferable). So we thought this would be a good way to communicate.
