It has been Tornado Centeral for two weeks. Last week we had ten tornados all in one day and just this week we had three or four more. I tell ya, *sigh* this weather is killin' me. The River's up though. It's up high. It's even higher now. This weeks tornado, not too sure if it touched ground or not, brought a lot of rain which means more flooding. Our road was flooded from two houses up! Brother and I got pictures of it and treked through it. It went down after an hour, though. Curious as to what the river looks like now. The wonders of nature. :D
So, I am currently rewriting my second novel because, honestly, you can never just write it and it be spetacular in the first go, you have to rewrite till your fingers bleed and then some. I also have this great idea for a short, angsty story with the title "Lollipop" (Word of the Week) which I'm going to do at some point in time...hopefully.
So I'm doing that. And while I'm doing that I'm pulling ten pages a day in schoolwork from each book (five books = fifty pages = one day's worth of work). So far I've finished Social Studies and I'm hoping to finish Word Building today, and Mama's being a real dear and checking the books I've already done. *sigh* I still have Math, English, and Science to finish. And I haven't even started on Math and English! Ah, well.
On a lighter side of the sky, click this and humor me. I promise it's not a bug or anything, it's just somethin' that'll make me a happy kitty. *fanged smile* Cliiiick itttt.
And a bit more links just for the click and educational purpose of it.
For your amusement: Build your own city, a few silly poems that are made by little kids, and all sorts of quizes.
For all you writers out there: a list of things to help develop your characters and this really cool website dedicated to writing; they're also looking for writers, I believe.
Soooo, if you're brave enough to journey to the deep take a look at the writing links. >:D
Au revoir. Kayla.

Ha! I love the title of this entry! Why do we do things like that! Like stand outside and snap pictures or video tornadoes!!! It makes no sense! The first year we had moved to Alabama, Mom, Sarah and I go get in the cellar and Mom stands just outside the door to video the bad weather! I mean, it was so bad, I was expecting a tornado to suddenly appear in the sky! :-)
I love the title of the of the short, angsty story. "Lollipop". Great title! Maybe when you get it written, you can maybe post it and let us read it? :)
Sarah is doing and feeling a lot better! The poison ivy was all on her face and on both her arms. But it's slowly healing. I'm really glad it is! She is healing very nicely! :-)
Well, I hope you have a wonderfully blessed day!
lots of hugs,
Jordan Lee

yeah, I'm gonna let you know for future reference. I'm zombie proof. Any attempts to turn me into a walking undead will end in failure. After mutilating your zombie guard, I thought about the meaning of that. I didn't click anything else. I don't trust you anymore! *sob* Not today, anyway. Watch it, chick. I took out a Nazgul just last thursday.
Yeah, the tornados are getting outta hand. We don't get that kind of weather here though. We're pretty sheltered where I live. Be safe, huh girl? And stay away from the zombies. The color isn't right with your eyes. :)

I might have to kill you for that! Do you know how many self preservatory reserves I had to open up to escape that one? What are you trying to do? Use up my nine lives? Geez!
Tornadoes, eh? I don't know if I can even spell the word right. I don't see very many of those, unless I happen to be watching the Wizard of OZ.
