Amazing Grace 2 Homeschool

• Sep. 7, 2008 - Starting week 4

I am just amazed that we are starting week 4 tommorow in Adventures of MFW.   Oh have we ever been busy!

I am really enjoying it, oh and the kids are too!  LOL!!

Over the last 3 weeks we have covered:  THe pledge of Allegiance and all it stands for.  The meaning/origin of different names including ours and our precious Jesus.

History lessons about Vikings, Columbus ,Captain John Smith, Squanto,Pocohontas and other Indians fascinated us.

Science with air included fun experiments that we all enjoyed participating in.  We made the Nina,Pinta and Santa Maria and sailed them in our ocean of blue (pool).

We continue to add to our historical timeline as it correlates with our lessons.  This last week we have added Spelling Power and will soon add Primary Language Lessons.

Ds is doing well with the Singapore math thus far, we will see how he does once it gets a little harder.  Math facts are something that we need to focus on a bit more.

Now to go and prep for this up and coming week.

Have a blessed day all!
