Train up A child - Evolution vs. Creation

Last week I talked about the bible being our
history book. A history book that all children
should start with and study. How the bible is
the WORD of GOD. That it is not just fun stories
to teach you a lesson. One thing that often
amazes me is how some can believe in Jesus
Christ and yet does not ,when it comes to the
creation of the earth. If you believe in Christ
how can you ignore parts of the truth. In Luke
3 Jesus' Genealogy goes back to Adam 'The
son of God' (not the son of an Ape) If
humans could possibly change so drastically,
then why didnt other animals change drastically?
Morph from one species to another.

I know that some are thinking and maybe
even your children are thinking...
How could God create the earth in only 7
days? I know some believe this time line in
theory. Yet the bible says in Genesis that
God spoke things into exsistance; God
speaks and Things happen.

As in Psalm 33:9, "He spoke, and it
was done: He commanded, and it
stood fast."

Who do we suppose is the best one to
tell us about God but Himself and He
did, in Genesis, as it tells of a rapid creation.
This is also consisitant with other passages
about Gods Authority.

Another arguement you may hear is that
the earth is millions of years old. Bones
have been discovered and dated much
later than Adam. We are lead to believe that
fossils have been stored in our earth for billions
of years but what if during Noahs day
of floods ,these animals and humans fossilized
quickly because of all the water. Making
them age differently because of their abrupt
experience.

There is a lot more to argue and study
concerning Creation Science and Evolution.
There is so much out there to learn. How can
our children know if we don't know. As parents
It is our job to weigh the facts and teach them
our beliefs and compare them to our Scientific
counter parts. Showing them and allowing them
to see how things could get confusing and
how much more we need to learn about God
and his WORD.
