Part One to our trip and a add on to my b-day post! :-)
    Hello!
Wow! I haven't posted in a really long time!!
As most of you know I was gone from the 12th to the 21st because we went to IL for Presbytery! :-)

Day one - Dad woke me and Joy up around 5:13am to begin getting ready to go, and we all ended up leaving the house around 6:30am (which wasn't to bad since we wanted to leave at 6:00am! ;-)), and drove for awhile (within all the driving please note that there were quite a few quick stops! ;-)). That day we had lunch with some of Mom and Dad's friends (the guy is someone who also collects bees like Dad :-)) down in PA, which was nice! :-) After that we began driving again and stopped at a hotel that night in OH! :-)

Here is a picture of Kay looking out of the neat little balcony we had! :-)
(We took it when we went out to the van! :-) I think it might have been the next day though?? :-)).

The hotel had a nice pool as well. :-)

That night we were woken up around 4:30am to the sounds of Trains honking! :-P I thought it was kinda cool that we got woken up by TRAINS! I mean, how many times does that happen where we live? ;-)

We saw some beautiful fields in OH (I think these pictures are from OH anyways... ;-)).

Tuesday for lunch we stopped at a State Park (I think...) in Indiana and had lunch. :-) There was this play ground with a odd thing that we were trying to figure out what it was, any ideas anyone? ;-)

Or did we get what it was right? ;-) -

    Hang on!!!! ;-)

Also a sliding structure! It was kind of funny for us to see because we have so many hills around here, but they don't, so we had never seen one before! ;-)

There were a lot of Red Bud trees :-) -

That night we got to the R.'s house where we would be staying! :-) It was very nice to meet them, (they are a very nice family! :-) And they were so kind and even gave up their rooms to sleep in the basement so we would be comfortable! Thanks you guys! That was so kind! :-)).

Here is a picture of them that was taken on the last day we were there - :-)

The next day (now Wednesday :-)) we just kinda hung out and rested :-) and went for a walk, which it was neat to see the cows and such! :-)
Then that afternoon Mom and Mrs. R took us kids shopping (since Lily and Gretel had to go somewhere.), and we went to a store called "The Hobby Lobby"! Cool name, Hu? :-)
That night we all (the R.'s too! :-)) went to the M.'s house for supper and met the L.'s! :-) (We had met Pastor L. when we were out in CA last year, but it was nice to meet his whole family this year! :-)).

On Thursday morning me and Mom went to drop Dad off at a meeting, and we saw Pastor W. :-)
That afternoon Mom took us kids and Gretel to a zoo which was really fun! :-) And it had a lot of neat animals! :-)

I thought it was pretty cool to see this snake sitting like this! :-)

    Wanna see another snake?? ;-)

    And how about another??? :-P

Wait! How about ONE more??? ;-)

Sick of seeing snakes? Ok, how about something else? Haha! ;-)

Some sort of Lizard or something... ;-)

A Mere Cat (Is that how you spell Mere?).

    More of the above! ;-)

The Lemurs were really cute and did all sorts of things to show off and entertain us! ;-)

    Cuddling! ;-)

    The two nuts! ;-)

    Sea Lions... I think! ;-)

    Josiah! :-)

    Peacock :-)

    Emu :-)

    Tiger! :-)

    Two! :-)

    Two black Swans :-)

    A cutie sleeping! :-)

    Me and the Cutie! ;-)

    Me, Kay, and Gretel! :-)

    Riding the Sea Lions! ;-)

I think Gretel hung on a little better then I did! ;-)

AAAHHH!! KAY! WATCH OUT! THERES A LION UNDER YOU!!!! Hehe! ;-)

Oh no! Theres one under Gretel too!!! ;-)

Goodness! No one is paying attention to WHAT they are sitting on! ;-) Hehe! Right on the lions head too! ;-)

    Wave!!! :-)

    A Camel :-)

Very stately, don't you think? ;-)

After the zoo we went to a big play ground which was quite exciting, and played tag on it! :-) There was a little girl and her Grandpa there, and the little girl was quite excited to join into our game! :-) Quite cute and out-going! ;-)

That night, after supper, we had been invited to go over to the E.'s house! :-) So we headed over there, and it was great to meet them, and the family that was staying with them! :-) We sang some songs, and played a game! :-) It was fun! :-) Many thanks to the E. family for having us over! :-)
(Sadly we didn't take any pictures from that evening!).

On Friday we went to a Wild life place with a bunch of the other moms and kids! :-) We saw a bunch off dear friends, and had a good time with them! :-)

The leader of our group; Thomas H.! :-)

More of our group walking behind. :-)

More people walking! :-) Including two of the dear girls I was put in charge of! :-) Becky and Laura H.! :-) Kay was also part of our little "sub group"! ;-) Very easy girls to watch I must say! :-) (I think they were watching me though! Hehe! ;-)).

    Melissa M.! :-)

    Nic! :-)

Two cowboy friends! :-) Hmmm... They seem to have switched hats! ;-)

Two dear sweet girls! :-) Jessica M. and Gabby D.! :-)

Two little ones! :-) Gabby D. and William M.! :-)

    In the car! :-)

Some animals we saw at the park - :-)

    A black bear! :-)

    Another one! :-)

    (Sorry about the tipped picture!).

    Mountain Lion! :-)

    A Goose! :-)

    A Raccoon :-)

    Pretty Birds :-)

    Some sort of animal... ;-)

AND! The scariest one of all!!! (Haha, JK! Isn't the goat giving us a funny look? :-P).

    Anthony H. :-)

    Job 14:2 - "He springs up like a flower and withers away;
like a fleeting shadow, he does not endure."
My shadow. :-) (I think thats mine... :-P).

That night there was a ordination service, and then a dinner afterwards, (and a dance! :-) But I only got one picture of the dancers...).

    Joy! :-)

Katie K. :-) It was nice to see you again! :-)

    Kevin W. and Anthony H. :-)

    Corey W. :-)

Two darling girls - Paige and Gabby D.! :-)

The camera man - Nic. :-)

Ben H. in his 1920's tux! :-) (Sorry if I got the date wrong Ben!).

    The dancers! :-)

The D. family! :-) (Although I didn't get Gabby in this picture, as I was over to the side, but I believe Mrs. D. is holding her! :-)).

Saturday we went to the M. house and went in their boats, and one of their neighbors boats (I think! ;-)), and had a good time! :-) And then we went to the E.'s house for supper, and met more people and danced, and played games, and sang, and had lots of fun! :-) Thanks for having us over again E.'s! :-)
    (Sadly again no pictures.).

On Sunday we went to Church, and then stayed for the fellowship meal there, and for a little while afterwards, and then, all to soon, headed out to go home.

Some other pictures from the week there - :-)

We met Mr. Bingley there!!! Yup, didn't you know he was going to be there? I didn't! :-) Here is the man himself! :-)

Or... Here's the kitty himself! ;-) Isn't he cute? He was such a nice cat! :-)

    Up the tree! :-)

The view from across the road from the R.'s house! :-)

    Up the road! :-)

Out the back of the R.'s house, and Kay walking out there! :-)

Gretel - The dear girl herself! :-)

    Joy! :-)

    Pretty Flowers! :-)

The dear R. family again! :-)

Guess what we did all week? ;-) It was lots of fun! :-)

Gretel said she wanted to find a way to get up on their shed roof, so Josiah found one! :-)

And least you fear that it was very high, let me show you this picture to reassure you it wasn't! ;-) (On the left is a lean-to type thing, and thats how they got up. :-) Gretel wanted me to get up, but alas, I couldn't! :-P).

    Taking a picture! :-)

    Sweet Lily! :-)

    Dear Mrs. R.! :-)

Also, it was wonderful to meet you, Sierra and Lenna!!!! :-)
The rest of our trip (Monday to Wednesday) will have another post about it, because there is much more to tell! ;-) And many more pictures to up load! ;-) :-)

But, it will be coming! :-)

Also an add on to my b-day post! :-) My dear friend Kate sent me a very nice CD! :-)

"Under His Wings. The Mountain Anthems"! :-)

    The wonderful girl herself! :-)

Thanks so much Kate! I love it!!! And thanks for being my friend! You're a great one! I love talking with you on the phone, and chatting with you on HSB, and writing and receiving letters with you!!! :-) You are such a wonderful friend to me! I love ya Sunny!!!! :-) Thanks! I am SO blessed by you!!! :-)

Well, have a good night everyone! :-)

I enjoyed the pictures and the memories of our time together.

The Hectors are very slowly getting back into the swing of things. The men are all working a lot. My cast is off, hurray! But it hurts more now.

I'm looking forward to Tennessee. We're saving our pennies.

    Love & Blessings, Mrs. H
