Nov. 22, 2008 - It's Wayy Too Cold Outside!
I. am. bored.
Extremely bored.
I have a cold, too. It's almost gone, but my head hurts. Badly. I have a slight cough, and I feel a little sick. ugh.
I've taken care of all my virtual horses on Howrse.com, and now it seems like there's nothing to do. None of my HSB, or my MSN friends are on. That's the one thing I hate about Saturdays. Everyone's busy with something. Normally, I am too, but today it's just too dang cold for me and my family to going hiking like we normally do. This morning, when I got up, it was 15 degrees outside!
Today's definitely the kind of day where you go find a cat or two, get a hot cup of tea, find a good book, and snuggle into bed. Which is what I did, until the cats decided to go curl up in a warm, hidden basket of clothes somewhere. So much for that idea.
Cats can be impossible.
Speaking of books, yesterday I finished a new one.
It's called The Angel Experiment, by James Patterson, and it is ah-maze-ing! I finished it in less than a day. All 422 pages of it! It's kinda hard to explain what it is all about... go to Amazon to read the reviews and everything.
So after I finished that book yesterday, I had to go rush to the library to get a few more. I can't live without reading for more than 24 hours. I am currently reading I, Coriander, by Sally Gardner. It's kinda confusing... don't understand most of it. Very strange book. But it is still good.
The next book I am planning on reading is Merlin's Dragon, by T. A. Barron. I saw it on the "new books" shelf, and decided to see what it's about. Of course, the word "dragon" attracted me. haha.
I really wish I lived next door to a library. I mean, living next door to a church is awesome, but it'd be cool if the library was nearer to our house, so I could go there whenever I wanted. Ahhh, that would be HEAVEN. Well, almost. You know what I mean.
Sooooo... tomorrow's Sunday, which means sunday school... church... family day... youth.... Oh yeah! Tomorrow, after church, I get to go to Petsmart to pick out a new betta fish! After my two fish died (after I had had them for over two years...) my room has been kinda lonely. I have the tank set up already. The new fish will love it! I'm planning on naming him Dragon. Pretty good name, huh? hahaha. Yeah, I can't wait. =P
I'm suddenly in the mood for a warm, fresh, chewy, delicious brownie right now... ohh. Good thing I am making some tomorrow for youth, otherwise I think I'd die. Well, maybe not. But still.
