Well, today was it.  It was one of those days, that at the end of the day, you think back over the day and think "wow, this was just a REALLY good day, we are so blessed."

Kev did school with the kids this morning so that I could get out early and get errands run.  It was going to be hot hot hot, so I wanted to get out and get back, before it became miserable.  By the time I was headed home at 11:00 am it was already 80 degrees - and with the humidity in Southern Ontario... whew, sticky!

I did get those cupcakes I mentioned this morning, and surprised the kids with them, when I arrived home.  They were so excited!  I hugged them all, and congratulated them for being the best students in the whole world, then presented them with their yummy cupcake - they were thrilled.

After that, we decided it was time to set up the pool, so we got started on that.  While we were working on that, the kids were doing the last day of school boogie dance, lol.  I took some pics of our day today - you can see them here.

Later, Kev barbequed his world famous burgers, then we goofed around out in the yard some more.  After devotion and bedtime for the kids - Kev and I snuck down to the pond to see who was there.  Mr. Turtle and Mr. Heron!  Before we headed to the pond, a HUGE white tailed deer went galloping across the field - and sure enough, my camera was in the kitchen on the table!

Overall... it was just a really good day.  I am so thankful.
