Okay, here's the deal. The mosquitos in southern Ontario, are trying to kill me. They're huge, they're furious, and they carry dipping sauce and cutlery. Not only are they trying to kill me, they've singled out Jordan our 7 yr old, as well.
When we're outside, we don't just get mosquito bites, we get mosquito grapefruit-sized-lumps that burn and itch and are very painful. I've always reacted to skeeter bites this way, and so does Jordan.
I've seen every kind of solution under the sun, marketed as "guaranteed to work!", to which I say "pffft, yeah right".
Citronella comes in buttons, wrist-bands, strips, oil for your tiki lamps, and probably hairspray too.
Here's my question to you - what really works, and what's a waste of time & money?
What have you tried, and what have you had success with?
I walked out on the deck last night after the kids went to bed, and not 15 seconds later, I looked down on my left hand, middle knuckle, and there was a crow-sized skeeter, having a snack. It's bad here, and with West Nile being a problem... this is the LAST thing this family needs.
So here's your chance to promote your sure-fire solution to warding off these critters.
