I guess I ought to mention that I have this weird habit of changing the header picture - on a very regular basis.  I do it on my other blog too - and I don't really know why.  I guess it's partly due to being struck with the beauty of God's creation, and I just want to share what I see, with you.

This little guy was visiting the feeder on my bedroom balcony railing.  He was very nice to pose for me this way, wasn't he?  For those who don't know, this is a male, American Goldfinch - very common in these parts. (Yes, I'm an avid bird watcher/photographer).

The other part of the reason might have something to do with never being completely satisfied with how the main page looks... but that's a topic for another post (or group therapy, either way).
