Nov. 27, 2005 - Finally Updating

Yeah, ok i kno i've been away forever. I'm back.

We just got back from michigan for thanksgiving (hope u had a gr8 one btw) and it was so fun.  The afternoon we got there the two couysins i hang out with at such occasions, Adam (15) and Luke (17) weren't at my aunts.  Turns out they had shot a squirrel and were at my cousin adam's house to gut and skin it.  So i got a ride over to assist.  It was really cool.  I looked at all the guts, and believe it or not they're not just a big gross bloody mess stuck in there, it's all very orderly and neat.  But besides that disappointment i enjoyed the experience.  Now if there any animal lovers out there or PETA members don't whine about it, i don't like treehuggers in the slightest.

The car ride took forever.  I was so sick of everyone and everyone was sick of me and eachother by the time we got home.  We went thru some scary places, when a lot of us needed to take a break to go to the bathroom we pulled off.  This place was completely devoid of class of any kind.  Let's just say i didn't notice any country clubs around.  But i did notice a few other varieties of clubs *ahem* but we'll stray away from that unpleasent note.

Well i am sort of glad to be back.  School will stink to get back to but at least i'll be able to hunt soon.  Well that's all for now.  cya later.

Nov. 2, 2005 - Hey I'm finally updating

  Been a while, i know.

Wow,  really bad news this weekend.

My best from friend when i lived in wisconsin just lost his dad.  I was at someones house and they told me he was killed in a car crash.  I've been pretty depressed for a couple of days.

I just watched The Patriot again what a great movie.  It's really good to see movies like that where freedom, liberty, courage etc are celebrated the way they are.  And shown in a realistic way, that the good guys don't always get away without a scratch...sometimes don't even get away at all.  For it's for the cause of Freedom, and right prevails in the end.  Much like the theme behind Braveheart (my favorite movie).

Well if your wondering why i've been slow it's because I made a xanga and it's taking a lot of time since there's so many of my friends that use it.

Well i really have to go do my homework or it'll never be finished on time.  Cya!

Oct. 25, 2005 - So...

Well today I am so sore from the lifting i did in gym yesterday.  You lift a small amount of weight...like 45 lbs...and it's pretty easy.  For a small amount of reps.  For extra credit we could see if we could lift this for a whole lot more reps.  Man, you'd be really surprised how heavy it can get all of a sudden.

I have to give another speech for speech class.  This one's going to be about how unlikely it was for the colonists to win independence.  They had a very small chance on paper.  But then, you don't decide revolutions on paper, you decide them on the battlefields.  We did, and look where we are now.

Oh and if ur reading this...TAG.  Copy these questions and answer them on ur blog.  Also post ur answers on my blog in a comment so i can see what you put.

Oct. 17, 2005 - Today.....

Well I haven't blogged for a couple but that's okay, right?  Today I went with my dad to cranberry where he works.  I hung out at barnes and noble and best buy all day planning to finally spend some of my birthday money.  Well I read a book called Marine Sniper for most of the day, and examined iPods.

I met my dad for lunch at a place that serves everything chicken.  It was good, I had some breaded tenders or w\e those are called.  Then I went back to my little plaza and looked around some more.

At bestbuy i wanted to buy some flogging molly cds but they were 12 or 13 dollars each.  On iTunes they sell whole cds for 10 bucks of flogging molly.  Plus someone was going to burn some of the cds for me.  But if they don't I am not buying a whole cd cuz i only like a couple per cd you know how that goes?  I mean the other ones are good but I'd rather just pay seperately for the ones i need lol.

So what i did buy was a card for 15 dollars worth of iTunes money in case i can't get those cds burned.  I have already downloaded some other stuff, and would have been downloading more now but mom kicked me off the computer my user is on and i have to use my sister's to put on this entry.  Haha.  Well catch ya later.

Oct. 14, 2005 - FRIDAY!!!!!!

Well a much deserved Friday has rolled around.  I am tired of school for now.  Which is why it's so awesome that we have a long weekend.  No school monday!  Oh yeah!  Tomorrow i am going to my friends house for his birthday.  I played 2 years of football with him and went to elementery school with him too.  He's a good guy.  I did my speech today.  It was scary at first but when you have a topic you care about the nervousness passes.

My friend has a soccer game today.  She was saying how we football players have taken three flags so far.  The girls soccer team has none.  So tonight if they win, they have it.  They are like three billion and two so i really hope they win, they have worked hard and deserve it.

Oct. 13, 2005 - Speech

Well right now I am waiting for my mom to get off the computer I use for everything.  This is Erin's that I'm using right now.

Well when mom gets off I have to look up more information for my speech.  I came across an encyclopedia page about "Bloody Sunday."  I'd heard of it before but never actually checked all the details. In 1972, Derry (Londonderry), a protest was going on over internmant, or illegal inprisonment practiced by British governament officers in Ulster.  To make a very long story short the Irish did not prevoke what happened.  Oh, and what happened, you ask?  14 unarmed Irish men and boys were shot to death, numerous others wounded.  There was no provocation, and no resistence.  Even protestent witnesses confirm the indiscriminate shootings the riled british slodiers carried out.  Including taking deliberate aim at a running unarmed boy and shooting him down.  All the details can be looked up on a non-biased encylcopedia and you can see for yourself what happened.

On a lighter note I am also waiting to finish...well waiting to start a story that is due tuesday (no school monday) on two battles of the french and indian war.

Oct. 11, 2005 - Hey Hey Hey

Hello, it's been a while.  Well this is as good a time as any to say if you haven't seen it on my profile already my AIM is The Town Celt.  I also have a buddy profile on there besides the regular one so check it out for polls, quizes, and other features.  Not a whole lot to report.  I have to make a history timeline in

US History.  That will take a while.  And my class has less time cuz of an assembly that happened during our class period :( Oh well i'll deal with it.  I saw brave heart again recently.  Not on TV this time so i got the full effect of the violence.  I had to appreciate the man William Wallace.  He fought for freedom, and reminded me what it is that i take so for granted.  His most famous words:

Aye, fight and you may die, run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take away our lives, but they'll never take... Oct. 7, 2005 - TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank goodness it's friday! Not much today...

Haha except the revolution.  Yeah some kid was sick of my school's administration.  He wasn't the only one.  He typed up a paper and was handing it out.  Exercising free speech, you know?  Well he was not alone in his opinions, most of the other students agreed including me.  A lot of people got worked up about it, and the school took his papers and said he couldn't hand them out.  Well the kids that worked at the office accidentley let the papers disappear.  Roughly fifty people decided that they would take it upon them to hand out the papers for him.  The school tried to crack down on even having these, you know, get rid of them all.  NO WAY.  FREEDOM OF SPEECH?!?!?!?!

Well we all left and went to the atrium.  Which is like a big foyer.  There were teachers trying to haul students away left and right.  It was glorious hahaha.  I didn't show up for science for a while.  People need to support others right?  When it died down we headed back to where we supposed to be.  Everyone else from my class was getting there at the same time as me, except for a few kids that never miss a day of school and worship the ground the principal walks on.  The teacher had just gotten there too a couple of minutes ago.  What was she gonna do, suspend thirty kids?  Or the principal's going to suspend the whole school cuz we've had enough?  Doubt it.  It was great.  Maybe the people on the school board will sit up and pay attention.  If not, this won't be the last time anything like this happens.  And if you are someone sitting there thinking, "well how rebellious.  Not appropriate," well let me remind you how our great nation was started.  By standing up to people who had forgotten what their position of authority meant.  The people that run the school, don't forget, are officially public servants.

Oct. 6, 2005 - Today....

Today was okay, some fun stuff, some retarded stuff.

In science we had to talk about the safety rules invovled in doing the chemistry experiments in the chemlab.  She is explaining the emergeny shower and eye flush station as where to go if liquid either gets on your eye or is splashed on you.

Then she moves on and decides to talk about how dangerous some of the chemicals are that we will be using.  She tells a horrer story of how a kid put a little bag of some chemical that ends in some kind of "ite" like motronoxite or something in his pocket to play with at home.  Turns out that this stuf reacts to water, including human sweat.  So this stuff gives him third degree burns on his leg.  Another kid pipes up with his two cents about how he heard of a kid that did the same thing but blew of part of his lower body.

All I can think is "so what if you spilled that chemical on you and she unknowingly sends you under the emergeny shower lol......BLAM!"

Wow, I have one sick sense of humor but I thought that it was uproarious at the time and couldn't stop laughing.

    Can't wait for gym tomorrow.....DODGEBALL!

Oct. 5, 2005 - Sports, and oh yeah, friends list ;)

I know the problem now for the friends list, someone told me it was the template.  Thanks for the advice, guys.

Well I think it's time for me to cover sports.  I played football and wrestling.  But this season I unfortunatley I am not playing football because I was in Michigan when practice started.  But I am still wrestling.  My weight class is 130.  I have to drop roughly 20 lbs by november.  Why do I think that's not going to happen?

I would have liked to play Hockey, but it's expensive here and besides that, my skating really isn't strong enough.
