In Between - Linkin Park
Okay, so I was going through my old blog posts (backing them up in case my blog was ever deleted or something), and I realized: I think I took like all of my blogging friends for granted. aaaaaaaaaand then, I sort of abandoned you when I got AIM. Then when I did come back to blogging, I would blog, get comments, and then either be too lazy or be too busy to reply. And now, I'm coming back and a lot of my friends deleted their blogs, which makes me feel even worse. WOW THIS IS COMING OFF AS AN EMO POST ISN'T IT O_O anyway, sorry about that guys. I'm gonna try to do better (i.e. actually commenting you back, and posting stuff other than explosive brain residue in my head). SO YEAH I hope that actually works out and stuff.
Bai.

Call to the Faithful - Inhale Exhale
xD Wow. I'm pathetic. This is only my 13th entry of the year. iblameaddydontkillme. Sorry I haven't been on recently. Been busy with random stuff. And school. Which isn't exactly random, but it's a stuff, in which it must fall in the time or sorting. I LIKE CONFUSING PEOPLE. It's something entertaining to do. ^_^ But it usually consists of "and to for which it has maybe" jumbled together, which isn't too random. Haha I saved this post as a draft over a month ago. All it had was the title and a video about Barack Obama and why you shouldn't vote for him. I found it interesting. =D I'D RATHER STAY IN COMPLETE IGNORANCE ABOUT POLITICAL STUFF FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS if you need me I'll be under a rock. CHRISTMAS IS A MONTH AWAY O_________o IT'S WEIRD. I just realized that too. I'd be surprised if anyone commented this, you all probably think I'm dead or something. >.> BUT NO I'M QUITE ALIVE stop looking disappointed. kthx. I'm talking to myself. I do that a lot. And the fact to which it has for been too long. Right now I'm trying to go through all 1000 songs on my iPod that have no stars... trying to rate them. I should've started doing that ages ago. 1023 to go. *groans* I NEED SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT. I used to like raving about youth group, but since I got out of middle school, it hasn't been rant worthy. It's weird. Oh yeah if anyone plays Xbox Live my gamertag is "SeekayofRome". Why? Cause "Seekay" was taken. OH YEAH I'M IN A "BAND" NOW. I called it a "band" in quotation marks because a) we don't write our own songs, we cover them, b) it's the exact same people that are in the praise band, and c) our current singer isn't that great. IF YOU EVER SEE THIS DANIEL DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY. xD There's something wrong with me. I'm talking to somebody who will never read this blog. Oh yeah, I get to go to Winter Jam before we move. =D That's good. Cause I don't know if they go to New Mexico. OKAY I NEED TO KILL THIS POST BEFORE I GO CRAZY *grabs pike*
*brief struggle ensues*
Okay the post won. >_>

Okaaaay I'm bored. And I felt like blogging. Even though there's nothing notable in my life. Except for the fact that NEW MEXICO WILL BE INJECTED WITH SEEKAY-ITIS (or -phobia, whichever works better) IN ABOUT THREE MONTHS. So yeah, other than moving to beyond the edge of the earth, no much else has happened. =D I was trying to go through my 2400+ songs on my ipod, starting with A and going through Z in songs, but I lost the drive after about 135 songs. Yeah I';m surprised I got that far. My attention span is definitely lacking. Now I'm going through all of the songs that have no stars on my ipod and rating them. I WANT MORE MUSIC. xD I'm weird. So, if you haven't figured out already, this post is meaningless. Like... well, I was gonna come up with a super clever metaphor like Drew Carey does on Whose Line is it Anyway, but I'm not smartikal enough for that. WOOHOO. So yeah, been bored recently. uhhhhh...... Nothing else to say. o_o HAI *waves* halp me.

The Artist in the Ambulance - Thrice
I've never listened to them before, I probably should. WAIT THAT'S NOT SEEKAYISH. Hmmmm. Oh well. SEEKAY WILL COME LATER maybe. =O
So yeah one thing that's happening in my life right now is the so pleasant *COUGHSARCASMCOUGHCOUGHchoke* concept of moving. To New Mexico. Where it's barren. N' flat. And completely treeless. Maybe a few cactuses, but they don't count. ANYWAY, here's a new segment in Seekayworld, "Bands I have started listening to recently:"
Thrice
Bayside
Showbread
Okay that was completely pointless. But, not much else has been happening. Except that I feel drawn away from the blogging world recently. And depression of having to maybe move doesn't help. So if you guys could please pray that we wouldn't have to move, I'd appreciate it.
Okaaaaay trying to move on to something happier.
OH YEAH I really want to get an airsoft gun now. I found one that can also shoot paintballs. =D And I have a million CDs I wanna buy now. And a bunch of shirts. And Halo action figures. xD wooow that made me sound like a nerd there. Soooooo lesse. Since my last post, I've:
Been to Goldrush.
Helped with VBS.
Nearly died at VBS.
Passed up an opportunity to go Whitewater rafting.
Goldrush was really fun, especially my roommates at the hotel xD There has not been a more epic room in a while. At VBS, I helped with recreation. Sorta fun. I was wiped after every day. Mainly cause there was this one kid... Nearly Died at VBS: That one kid was determined to kill me. SERIOUSLY. Omg. He was like... evil. o_o It was creepy. Passed up an opportunity to go Whitewater Rafting: Didn't have enough money. Yeeaah, disappointed about that. WOW THIS POST WAS POINTLESS I HAD TOAST LAST NIGHT AND NOW I SAY TOAST TO MUCH I've been told that by two people now. I NEED TO START SAYING SOMETHING ELSE. But nothing else has the same feel as toast. *sounds weird* I'M HUNGRY.

Don't Call Me Peanut - Bayside
Epic win title for a song. =D Okay, so I was gone for 9 days in Miami. Unfortunately, since I waited so long to blog again, I forgot a fair amount of what happened. *cheesy grin* I'll attempt to possibly do my best at recalling. And I will be speaking in present tense for each of the days. Don't get confused. Or bored. kthx.
Saturday, 6-21-08; Day 1: Soooo yeah I had to wake up around 6 AM today, cause we were supposed to leave from Church around 6:45. HOWEVER, we didn't actually leave until 7:30 or so. xD Odull (nickname for one of our leaders, 23 years old) wasn't awake at the original starting point. It was kind of funny in a weird way. We kept calling him, but he didn't answer. So finally someone drove to his house and brought him. He's a hilarious guy =P Here's a video of him snoring. He's really cool and funny. We all agreed he should be a stand-up comedian during the trip. Anyway, we left around 7:45 or around that time. Odull slept all morning in the van. Also, it is impossible to describe the epicness of the van ride down in words or facial expressions, which I am not able to give to you. But it was awesome. We were in a 15 passenger van and a 7 passenger minivan (Toyota Sienna). I was in the 15 passenger van, the seat behind the driver, which is always my seat on youth trips. At around lunch or so, we were all wide awake and restless (except for Odull ^^,). So we started writing messages on pieces of paper and sticking them against the windows of the van. It was hilarious xD I don't remember why it was so funny, it just was. =P And we had cell phones, which would've worked just as well. But who wants to use cell phones when you have good old pencil, paper, and moving cars on a 4 lane highway? Seriously, dodging in and out of traffic to communicate to the other van is just way to cool to pass up (It rocks having a 21 year old youth pastor =P). Anyway, Florida had HUGE thunderstorms. I has pics of the weather. Pic 1; Pic 2. Yeah, it rained hard. Now, let me note one thing. I'll be naming random people that you've never heard of before, but they're all in my youth group. =P Anyway, in Florida, we stopped at a gas station. Mark got a 32 OUNCE MONSTER CAN. Monster is energizing enough in small cans (or so I have been told), and this one had 2500 mg of caffeine in it. IT EVEN HAD A WARNING LABEL ON IT: "Limit one can per day. Not recommended for pregnant women, or people sensitive to caffeine." He said he drank half the can in 5 minutes, then immediately had to go to the bathroom, so he stopped drinking it so fast. =P So the trip down was epic. We finally got to the place where we were staying (Pastor's house in Little Haiti in Miami) at around 8 PM or so.We were all so tired when we got there from being in the car all day. Then we got to read the little pamphlets for VBS. Each one had an animal, and we were supposed to associate virtues with the animals. i.e., courage, kindness, etc. One was lemmings. omg xD that was EPIC. First sentence in the pamphlet: "Lemmings are plump little animals closely related to the mouse." We all died of laughter. There were only like 5 of us reading them, but it was hilarious. And then it talked about lemmings having "voracious" appetites. Then it showed a picture of a lemming with his teeth bared standing next to a caribou. Or something. And it had the most obvious question ever. "Where are lemmings most likely to drown?" I'll let you figure that out =D Also, we got really confused. "The lemmings will fight each other on land, and will gradually move to water, where both usually drown....... HOW DOES THAT REPRESENT KINDNESS? O_O" Yeeaah, that lesson was hard. Also, since we were telling these to little kids, it was a little difficult to find better words for "die" and "death." YOU CAN'T TELL A LITTLE SIX YEAR OLD KID THAT A LEMMING KILLS ANOTHER LEMMING. Well you could. But it wouldn't end well. OKAYDAYTWONAObai
Sunday, 6-22-08; Day 2: We went to a Church called El Shaddai in Little Haiti. We didn't get much out of it xD It was all in Chreol. Or however you spell it. It's a combination of Spanish and French. Afterwards, we went to the beach =D Except a storm was moving in. whee another pic. But the water there O_O homg. IT WAS CLEAR. It wasn't green or anything like that. You could actually see the bottom. And it was cool too, the beach was almost level, then about 10 feet from the sea it makes a sharp drop (about a 55 angle or maybe 60) And then another 10 feet and the sea is level with your chest. BUT it stayed that way for hundreds of feet. It was spiffy. =D But then we had to flee from the oncoming storm. Aaaaand not much happened for the rest of that day.
Monday, 6-23-08; Day 3: TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY OF VBS. It was pretty cool. This was my first time coming to Little Haiti. Basically, it was a bunch of little kids ranging from around 3 to about 11. I don't remember much of what happened that day. But we basically just played with the kids a lot. They wanted piggy back rides and stuff like that. After VBS, we worked. We mostly painted walls inside today. Wow this was a short description. =P
Tuesday, 6-24-08; Day 4: We had VBS again today, BUT we put up a Tire Swing. Heres a picture of Cole tying the rope for it up on a tree. Odell was in charge of pushing the kids on it. He got SO SWEATY. Here's a pic of him pushing: Click. But that occupied most of the kids' attention spans. So the rest of us had to do hardly anything. xD There was actually a fair number of kids who weren't on the tire swing. They wanted piggy back rides, and to play frisbee, basketball, etc. I think today was the day we had a kickball game. Our team lost. =P WE COULD NOT SEEM TO GRASP THE CONCEPT OF ALWAYS THROWING THE BALL TO FIRST. And then when we did that our first baseman never caught it, so it usually ended up in a point for the other team. heh. Our work for that day was the same as yesterday, painting the room, etc. Pretty much the same all week. Lol And that night, Josh, Stephen (not shadeslayer), Haley, Beckah and I all stayed up till like two. =P They were all hyper on sweet tea, I was just there for the socialness.
Wednesday, 6-25-08; Day 5: SAME THING HAPPENED WITH VBS I shall not go into it again. But we took the day off from working. We went to Key Largo (YES THE KEY WEST AREA =D) and went Snorkeling. Note: Snorkeling is not as much fun if you're not doing it right like I was for the first hour. I 1) didn't inflate my lifejacket to keep me afloat, 2) the snorkel didn't stay in my house because of my overbite, 3) I kept blowing through my nose to exhale air, and that cause my goggles to fog up, and 4) I lacked the leg strength to use my flippers for very long. And I was also scared to death of getting near the coral. =D It was better in the last 15 minutes though, when I actually swam over the coral, which didn't kill me (surprisingly). But it was really cool. ^_^
Thursday, 6-26-08; Day 6: Same thing happened with VBS lol. I think I finally cracked today because I was feeling very impatient. =P But I managed to avoid that around the kids. Same thing with work, nothing special happened at all.
Friday, 6-27-08; Day 7: Taylor got beat up by the kids today. *evil giggle* Yeah, I got a video of it. =P And he was getting tired of giving the kids Piggy back rides. This was the last day of VBS/work. I was going to miss all the kids in a weird way. lol We finished up with our work and everything, and went back to the house. Oh, I have to mention one thing: All the meals I was fed in that house WERE AMAZING. :d Yum. So yeah, that about wraps Day 7 up.
Saturday, 6-28-08; Day 8: Today we drove to our old pastor's house in Brandon, Florida. we got there after having a pretty fun ride... sort of. I learned that being in the Sienna was miserable. I had no legroom at all. But I eventually got the middle seat. ^_^ moar legroom yay. And then when we got there, we all were epicly amused by their cat. Really fluffy and playful... I think. But it was declawed so that was good. They also had a bird that I really liked. And they had GH3. Which was great. Cause then I could show our youth group that my playing guitar hero actually took skill, and wasn't some stupid game. =P Through the Fire and Flames was a good song to show them that on. *happy* Then we played Ultimate Frisbee, and then we swam in their pool.
Sunday, 6-29-08; Day 9: Today we went to their Church, and afterwards they had a lunch there. Then we drove straight from there to back home. Along the way, 2 cars in front of us, the car slowly drifted onto the side, hit the median, over corrected, and did several barrel rolls. What I saw of it was when our driver suddenly braked, I looked up, see the car flying. It was... uh.. sorta freaky. But the amazing thing was that all the people inside got out. And our driver was a nurse. And they wereN'T* injured, which was spiffy. =D So now I can say the wreck was cool. I just hope they had insurance on their car. It was a brand new 2008 car. And then we narrowly avoided two other wrecks, which was good. So yes, it was "eventful."
So now I'm back... lonely... I miss seeing everyone in our youth group every morning. :( And now I leave again tomorrow. Sooooooooo yeeaah. I actually have a busy summer this year... wheeeeeeee. So yeah. That's about it.
[Edit] If anyone posts "tl;dr" or something like that on this, I shall disapprove of your choice to not read it greatly. =P
*Yeeaaaaah, made a bad typo there xD

The All-Star Diaries - A Skylit Drive
Sooooooo apparently my subconscious wanted me to blog:
11:21:19 PM Seekay: I'd be like "kaHSBfdmahsdfgmasd GO WAI NAO"
11:21:22 PM my epic phail: -_-
11:21:23 PM Seekay: whoa
11:21:24 PM Seekay: O_O
11:21:27 PM my epic phail: WOOWWWW HUGE DEAL
11:21:31 PM Seekay: why did it capitalize HSB...
11:21:36 PM my epic phail: xDDDD
11:21:38 PM my epic phail: ITS EVIL
11:21:38 PM Seekay: CREEPY
11:21:41 PM Seekay: IT WANTS ME TO BLOG
So I obliged... eventually. I think that happened a few days ago. =D *tries to inject this entry with Seekayism* HOLD STILL *cough* sorry. Oh and for those that don't know (LOLZ HEER COMEZ TEH SUPAH KOMPLIKATED ADDVANSED INEKWALITIES OF MAFF)
CK < Seekay
CK = The Caterpillar form of Seekay. The one new to the blogging world. The stale, bland, personality-less creature of the night.
Seekay = The fully advanced form of butterfly, after the chrysalis stage. The one filled with personality and stupidness of wonderfluff...ness... yeah. That. The end.
Not much has happened recently. Or maybe I forgot it. I do that a lot. =D IT'S A NON-STOP DISCO GOING ON IN MAH HEAD WHEEEEEEEE Anyway, I'm going to Miami this Saturday for a missions trip. I'm still not too sure what we're doing. In the morning, we will be doing a "relaxed VBS with the kids," and the afternoon just says "work." o_o it sounds evil almost. "This afternoon, we will be doing *slow motion head turn with evil grin* work." *lightning flashes* Okay, so that will take up 9 days. We'll get back on the... uh... *checks calendar* 29th. Then I have a free week. Then we have Gold Rush. =D Last time we went it was epic. But it's changed a little this time. I hope it's still as much fun. That will last for the 7th of July to the 11th. Then on the 14th (monday) I'll be helping out with VBS. However, what I want to be doing that day is GOING TO THE VANS WARPED TOUR IN CHARLOTTE :'( But noooooooo no one wants to drive me. I don't have my license yet. Rawr. And then on the 15th a Rock Band disc for the PS2 and Wii will be released, which has like.. 25-30 new songs for it. I'm looking forward to that too. Oh, and I have a "job" now. Sort of. Stephen's dad hired me to help Stephen with mowing apartment complexes. $8 an hour too. ^___^ So no complaining here. I finally payed off my ipod, now I'm going to try to save up for a 360. Heh. That might take more patience than I have. After that I'm gonna get GHIV. B.Y.O.B. [Clean] - System of a Down
Okay, so not much has happened in the last month. Except that I acquired 12 new CDs. =P All from Pepsi Points. And they are:
30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie
Coheed and Cambria - No World for Tomorrow
Daughtry - Daughtry
Foo Fighters - The Colour and the Shape
Foo Fighters - In Your Honor
Green Day - International Superhits
Paramore - Riot
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Don't You Fake It
Say Anything - In Defense of the Genre (That was a horrible rip-off >_>)
System of a Down - Mezmerize [Clean]
System of a Down - Hypnotize [Clean]
Yellowcard - Paper Walls
So, yeah, I have expanded my music library by... a lot. =D I also downloaded a lot of songs recently. Total, I've gotten 249 new songs in the time of 20 days. Yay. And after ordering two SOAD CDs, I'm eagerly awaiting a new album sort of by them. Apparently, SOAD split, and the guitarist "Daron Malakian" and drummer "John Dolmayan" formed a band, "Scars on Broadway", and they're coming out with a new album on July 29th. New single "They Say" should be available on May 27th. =D
So, in other news, I'm going on a Miami missions trip that our church is doing. We've been doing fundraiser things, but none have been going too well. lol And not much else has been going on in my life... I'm losing sanity constantly (I BLAME YOU ADDY HEHEHEHEHE =D), but not much else. Oh yeah, I'm taking guitar lessons now, hopefully I'll learn some songs soon, so far it's just been finger exercises. GAH THIS POST NEEDS LESS CKISM AND MOAR SEEKAYISM. Line of sanity ends here.

SEE? THERE IT IS, RIGHT THERE *Points* I NEED FRUIT LOOPS

You're not alone,
There is more to this I know!
You can make it out,
You will live to tell...
So, I figured it was time for two things. A new entry, and a new template. I figured I'd go back to the basics, one of the first templates I made myself. Well, almost. I mainly just changed the colors and stuff
Well, let me summarize the last month.
School.
Rock band drums broke.
iPod broke (again).
Ordered guitar. YES. SEEKAY IS GOING TO BECOME A HAHDCOAH HEADBANGING GUITAR SOLO MAN. kthx.
More detail about Rock Band drums: Basically, one day, the blue pad stopped working (Link to drums), so I sent a complaint to EA. They shipped me a box, in which I was to place the drums and ship it back free of charge. Then they would ship a new drumset to me. Well, the box came on Thursday. One small problem though. The drumset did not fit in there. It might've had something to do with that fact that it was the box for the rock band GUITAR. Yeah, that might've had something to do with it. Guitar =/= Drums. So I had to call them to complain about that. So they sent me the actual drum box, so I'm going to ship that back to them today.
Oh, and Addy and I formulated a complaint letter to EA (Yes, we're insane. :P) :
1:27:18 PM Seekay: You know how my drumset broke?
1:27:30 PM Seekay: And I sent them a notification and they sent me something to return it in?
1:27:41 PM my epic phail: sure
1:27:45 PM Seekay: Well guess what
1:27:51 PM Seekay: They sent me a box to return the guitar
1:27:53 PM Seekay:
1:27:57 PM my epic phail: o_O
1:27:58 PM Seekay: epic phail
1:28:02 PM Seekay: they has it
1:28:06 PM my epic phail: WELL THATS DUMB
1:28:13 PM Seekay: EXACTLY
1:28:29 PM my epic phail: people these days...can't trust them
1:29:11 PM Seekay: Nope.
1:29:26 PM Seekay: *Kicks them*
1:29:33 PM my epic phail: xD thats so stupid...you wanted to return the drums...and they sent you a guitar case
1:29:44 PM Seekay: Me: "DO NOT WANT"
1:29:49 PM Seekay: and the thing that's ever worse
1:29:52 PM my epic phail: *kicks guitar case*
1:30:02 PM Seekay: is they included a slip of paper inside of the guitar case
1:30:08 PM Seekay: telling you how to return the drum pads.
1:30:18 PM my epic phail: wow.
1:30:29 PM Seekay: Paper: Slide drum pads into box
1:30:30 PM my epic phail: the worker people...must be 6-year-olds
1:30:37 PM Seekay: Me: FIT THEY DOES NOT *eats*
1:30:56 PM my epic phail: MAKE THEM FIT...break them or something...then blame it on them 1:31:02 PM Seekay: xD
1:31:06 PM my epic phail: "YOU SENT ME WRONG BOX YOU FOOLS"
1:31:26 PM Seekay: *Grinds into shreds* I SHIPPED YOU DA BROKEN DRUMS i can has new ones kthx
1:33:22 PM Seekay: The order slip on the outside of the box says "Playstation 2 Drum Pads", and the slip of paper inside the box describes how to fit them into the box, but try as I might, they refuse to fit inside the guitar box. I have no idea why. Please help.
1:33:51 PM Seekay: OH HAI EA LOLZ I'S AN IDIOT
1:34:35 PM my epic phail: "DRUMS DO NOT MATCH GEETAR CASE. this must be your problem for i am sure i am intelligent enough"
1:34:40 PM my epic phail: I AM NOT FEELING RANDOM
1:34:43 PM my epic phail: that made no sense
1:34:47 PM Seekay: xD
1:35:56 PM Seekay: I received a box today that said "Guitar" on the outside. It was from EA. I opened the package, and found a slip of paper describing how one would fit the drums into the box. But, as it turns out, drums do not like fitting in guitar boxes. I apologize for when you open the box and find the drum set mangled and crammed inside, but, you see... I had no choice.
1:36:28 PM my epic phail: I regret to inform you that the issue at hand is not my fault.
1:36:49 PM Seekay: For, if you had shipped the correct package, this would never have happened.
1:36:59 PM Seekay: So, yeah, if you could ship my new drums by Monday...kthx
1:37:49 PM my epic phail: p.s. send poptarts and an autrograph
1:38:19 PM Seekay: and cheese
oookaaay, now about my iPod. I still have no idea how it died. But it did. Apparently. Basically, one night I was listening to my music while it was plugged into the compy. Then, it stopped playing and the computer froze a little. Then it unfroze, and the ipod started skipping songs after playing 4 seconds of them. So, I stopped it, ejected it, and went to bed cause it was kind of late. Then, I realized that all of my artwork for the songs was gone
So, the next day I started replacing them. I was halfway through when iTunes froze. I force quit it, and opened it back up. It told me that the it could not read the contents of the iPod "Jimmy II" and I'd have to restore it to it's factory settings. Now, to those of you who have an iPod and have it set to Manually Manage Music and Videos, restoring it is not fun. Or maybe it's just me. But anyway, I ejected it, and tried to play a song. And guess what. All of my songs and videos have been erased by the computer. I had done nothing to tell it to do that. So then I reset it (Reset =/= Restore, but it had cured my problem a few times). I turned it back on after it had reset, and it gave me this. (Link) And that's when Jimmy II learned the full extent of my upper arm muscles and how far I can throw things. Okay, so I didn't really throw him and it wasn't even hard. Eh, I might get it repaired and sell it to someone.
I need money anyway. But anyway, I bought a new iPod. JIMMY THE 3RD bwahahahaha. I made Stephen jealous cause it's an 80 GB iPod Classic. And yesterday I finally got the case I ordered from eBay (I discontinued my use of my old one, because it has magnets in it, and I think that might be the reason it keeps dying). So now I'm pretty happy. And I should be doing school but I'm not. heh. iPod tag time now yes? okay (From Seachel)

Life is Beautiful - Sixx:A.M.
Very good song ^_^ Okay, to quickly sum up my life in the last *Looks at last entry* 35 days since I blogged (Wow), I had a birthday, my mom and sister went to England for two weeks 2 days ago, my internet browser died (Using FF now) and I got Jon Foreman to sign my shirt.
I also got one of Drew Shirley's picks. =D He's so awesome. lol
So, yes, I went to a Switchfoot concert last night. It was awesome. However, there was a little miscommunication which was probably my fault, but I was getting ready to eat dinner, when Stephen, his sister, and mom come by to pick me up, so I ran inside, put on my shoes, and grabbed a poptarts package (Ah, the benefits of a house almost to myself) and ran out the door. So I ate on the way there. Stephen bought tickets like 3 weeks before, so we were in the 4th row. And during the concert people in the row in front of us left, so we advanced to row 3. I can't remember all of the songs they sang, but during "Gone", Jon Foreman told us all to put our arms are the person beside us and sway back and forth like one big family. However, the person next to me was like a foot shorter than me.... But they sang several songs I knew, and during one of them, Jon came out into the audience (Pics below) into the row right behind us. That was cool. =D And during some point, Jon took his guitar and started... screaming into it. It was a little weird, but it sounded spiffy. And at the end of it, we were wandering around the lobby seeing if they'd come out, then we went to wait by their bus. xD We weren't the only ones. There was like 20 other people in their own groups. While we were waiting we got pretty insane. Stephen had gotten a disposable camera before we went to the concert, and was taking pictures of random people (Including me) at weird moments. *Re-enacts* I'm saying something, and Stephen runs up and takes a picture right in my face (I REALLY WANT TO SEE THAT PICTURE). So we had to wait for like an hour before Tim Foreman came out (Actually, Andy the podcast dude came out first). So I got my picture with him and then his autograph on my "The Beautiful Letdown" CD, and then we waited again. Next Jerome Fontamallis came out. Got picture with him and his autograph too. Then Chad Butler came out (Same thing), and then Drew Shirley. He's awesome. :P I got a guitar pick from him and *Repeats autograph and photo* And then Jon Foreman came out. Stephen got a pick from him, and I got him to sign my Switchfoot shirt. =D And then it was 12:30. We were waiting at the bus since 10:05 or so for them to come out. They didn't even all come out at once hehe. They were like spaced 20 minutes apart. Then Stephen called his parents, who apparently thought that someone else was going to drive us back, so they weren't happy. And we were all crazy at this point. Well, I was at least. When I'm tired, I shift into hyper mode. And the 20 oz of Vault and more of coke probably helped. But yeah, that's basically it. Sorry if I don't comment you guys back soon, cause I'm kind of busy. PHOTO TIME =D

" 'Cause I hate the ocean, theme parks and airplanes,
Talking with strangers, waiting in line.
I'm through with these pills that make me sit still.
Are you feeling fine?
Yes, I feel just fine."
Everything is Alright - Motion City Soundtrack
Well, it's about time I blog again. Considering that I've been back from my trip for over a week. Heh. =D I just don't usually have time to post. Either that or I don't think of it. So, not much has been happening recently. My computer had some little virus thingie, but I think it deleted it. =D I love macs. If it didn't delete it, then it quarantined it well enough. I haven't experienced any problems recently. Which is good. Except my keyboard's "o" key broke, so I had to replace it. So, anyway, here's what happened on the Beach Trip.
Feb 15th: I got up to the church around 12:40 PM. We were supposed to leave at 1:00. However, after getting everyone's stuff in, it was around 1:30. We left then. The trip down was pretty uneventful, but it wasn't boring. When you're in a van with 15+ other people, it doesn't have much time to get boring. But it wasn't really anything to blog about. Eh. Oh well. We got to Hilton Head around 5:15 or so. We were in a place called Sea Pines, on Royal Tern rd, and our houses were like right next to the beach, which was pretty sweet. And I rented a bike while I was there, which made it even more fun. The bike trails over there are awesome. Some of them twist and turn which makes them a lot of fun to bike on. Anyway, after we got there, we unpacked and explored the houses. We the guys decided that the girl's house was a LOT nicer than the guy's house. The girl's house had a neutral smell, but the guy's had a musty odor. And the girl's house had about 7 bathrooms, but the guy's had 3. =P But I hardly spent any time inside the houses, and we ate our meals and had our lessons at the girl's house. And I hardly spent any time in our room. (We were each assigned a room with 1 or 2 other people. I had a room with two other people, and two beds. So I slept on a couch upstairs. The houses were HUGE. Like ginormous. But we got there, explored them, and then after the next group arrived (The people who couldn't get out of school that Friday) we ate. We had ham and pork loin. Ham was good. :d I had no pork loin, which was the second wisest choice I made on that trip (Wisest was buying Fish flavored candy DON'T ASK). So that night all the girls migrated to our hot tub because theirs wasn't working. And then two of the older guys in our youth group threw someone into the pool. It was freezing. lol I know because later on they tried to throw me in. But I did it voluntarily. Seriously, I lost feeling in my legs. IT.WAS.COLD. Like ice cubes. Except worse because it was water. So then I got into the hot tub with everyone else. Cause now everyone was in it. =P And then the patrol people in the community came and told us to be quiet or we would have to pay a $1000 fine for being too loud. We used that threat throughout the whole trip. =P But we never had to pay it. We never got loud enough I guess. And then later that night I got ready to go to bed (Wound up being 1 AM =D) but didn't sleep in our room. I slept on a couch upstairs in my sleeping bag. OMG IT WAS SO COMFORTABLE =DDDDD I liked it a lot.
Feb 16th: Had to get up at 8:45 to eat break fast. We had pancakes and ham. =d There was a pattern throughout the trip. Whenever we had a new meal, there was always food from the previous meal out there. So our last meal was huge. lol After we finished eating, I learned that everyone who had eaten the pork loin the night before had had cramps during the night. So here is where my picky eating helped =D And then we had our lesson. All of our lessons were about Heaven and Hell. Then at 12 we had lunch, which was hot dogs. :d I loved all of the meals. =D Then we had free time. First on my priority list, was bike riding. It wasn't that much fun on the beach, but there were small hills on the trails which were fun. then I returned, and everyone was playing soccer. So I figured I'd join in. It was a lot of fun. =D I scored 3 or so goals, which was the most of anyone playing. Which i surprising cause I hadn't played in 6 years. But then the inevitable happened. I went to kick the ball or try to get it away from someone on the other team, and we kicked each other's feet. I was wearing shoes, but they're not sturdy at all. So, my toe got jammed. So I quietly left the game and went up to the house. Ironically, I was the only one there because everyone was playing Soccer. =P So, I soaked my toe for more than an hour in the ice cold pool. Then everyone returned. Then they all got into the hot tub and I joined in with my legs and alternated from hot to ice cold. Which was good. ^_^ It made me not have a sad anymore. But it still hurt like crazy and got REALLY swelled. I took a comparing photo, but it's still on the camera. Will edit when I upload it. It's disturbing. =P But anyway, after that we had dinner. Took a little while to walk there, but I made it. lol It was lasagna. And hot dogs (See the pattern? =D). I ate mostly hot dogs. They were really good. And then we had another lesson. After that we went to the hot tub again. Afterwards, we all separated to our separate houses. It's really boring in the guy's house. Because we don't do anything. 4 people brought their guitars, and they played them every night. One person could do the solo from One by Metallica, and another one of them could do the tapping in Eddie Van Halen's Eruption second 0:57-1:05 (Yes I checked it =P). Another one could do Sum 41 and blink-182 songs. So it was sort of like a concert.... all at the same time. Which was interesting. And that night I went to bed at 2.
Feb 17th: I woke up around 8:45 again, and we went to Church. The ride over there was interesting. And fairly funny. I was in the car with all the 17-18 year olds lol. And we followed close behind the other car with our youth group, and whenever we stopped we tried throwing mints to them. I don't think we ever got one to them. Oh well. And then we finally arrived after getting lost. It was a fun Church. (Random time quote: wow Addy's peoplephobic) But after it was done we went back and almost got pulled over by a cop. Which was kind of funny xD When we arrived back at the house we ate lunch, which was... well I forgot what the rest of the meals were. Then we had more free time. I went to the Salty Dog Cafe on my bike. It was about a mile away. =D On the way there I saw an Alligator, which was cool. Got a picture of him below. I got the fish flavored candy there. Later that night I managed to give it to someone. The result was comical. hehehee. But that night we moved all of the furniture back to where it was originally, packed, and cleaned.
Feb 18th: Had to wake up earlier, but didn't, so I almost missed breakfast. MORE PANCAKES om nom nom nom. So that day it was raining, which sucked. But we got all of the stuff loaded, and then we left around 1:30. Not much happened that day. I was in a very boring car with no legroom. >_< Not enjoyable. And we took back roads the whole way. I WAS BORED OUT OF MY MIND. But then we finally got back, went back home, etc. We went out to eat that night =D Which was cool.
So yeah that was the trip. And nothing has happened in the past week, except that I ordered a CD and a Wireless GH3 controller for the PS2. And I get to go to a party tomorrow. *Happy happy happy* And now here are pictures from the trip. Note: I got hardly any of the girl's house. I in actuality was nicer than the guys, but due to limited time in it, I didn't get many of it. Yes, it had a hot tub and pool, which were finally heated on Sunday. lol
