Knights Becoming and a Lady in Waiting

Before I Lay Me Down to Sleep...

... I stopped off to visit a few friends.  I thought I'd share a bit of that journey.

• Julie could use your prayers.  She's having some very bad headaches as she recovers from surgery.
• Genesis Family posts her reasons for homeschooling as a catalyst to her goals for the year.  As she says so well, "If you don't know where you're going, any train will take you there."
• Jesse is asking for ideas on how to motivate her strong-willed daughter.  If you send her any, could you let me know?  I have a strong-willed son who sounds like he may have a missing twin sister out there.
• Emily is also having problems motivating a child and-- oh, I can so relate-- Mommy issues with getting angry about it.  Stop by and encourage her.
• Finally, Kim has the most awesome archival-style photos on her blog, as well as a testimony of a family legacy that could leave you speechless.  The genealogist in me was just itching after those pictures... .

And now, off to bed for me.  I will "see" you all later.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I have never heard of the Hillbilly Housewife thing before, but I did go to the website and bookmarked it. I haven't perused the site yet, but I am looking forward to checking it out. Thanks!
