Just Do the Next Thing

Its so simple.  A deck of 55 cards (the regular 52 plus the 3 jokers).  Who would think such a simple invention could keep children happy, content and occupied for hours on end.




Oh wait, they are Star Wars cards, maybe that is why.


Well, that's Ok.  They discovered the joys of card playing and I got to enjoy an afternoon with minimal fighting.

Goals for 2008
1. To finish reading through my Bible.

2. Work diligently at putting off sin and putting on Christ on very tangible ways.

3. Spend more quality time with Sean.

4. To institute and stick to family game night.

5. To exercise 5 days a week consistantly.

6. To write and send cards every month.

7. To try a new meal once per month.

8. To expand the chore chart beyond the kitchen chores.

9. To spend work consistantly on my scrapbooks to get caught up and finish 2007.

10. To learn how to knit mittens.
