2008 Mission's Trip
Hi Everyone,
Sorry it's been a long time. ( It seems like I always start out like that). Our church took a mission's trip to Fairmont, WV June 21-28. We worked on a poor family's house and on it we painted, caulked, scraped, pulled to large stumps out of teh ground, and replaced wood on the house. It was a lot of hard work, but it was really fun.
The first two days I think, I was sick and didn't do too much but I was fine later. Like last year onWednesday we got a half day off of work and our team went to play violins for some friends, went our for ice cream, went to the wave pool, then out for dinner. That was soooooo much fun .
After we finished the house, we still had two days before we had to leave so we stayed at the camp which wasn't fully built yet and we helped out there. I helped build the staff cbin adn I got to use a nail and staple gun, so there weren't too many people in there at the time. It started out as 8 things of cement in the ground to 4 walls and frames inside the cabin by the end of thw week. It was awesome.
Well, I am gonna post some pictures when I can.

Updated blog
Hey Everyone,
Sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted. In case you haven't noticed, I have been nagged about it plenty of times.
We have been really busy. Last week, my dad had a ceremony that would be a really long story if I told what for and we had family staying at the beach and we went to visit them. This week, my three younger sisters and older brother and dad are getting ready for a missions trip we are taking with our church to Fairmont, West Virginia. We are leaving Saturday at 6:00 but we have to be at the house at 5:30 a.m. to get packed in the vans. It is gonna take us about 12 hours to get there not including stops, so we will have a very long day. When I get back, I will post pictures and tell ya'll about it. God Bless!

Update
Hey Everyone,
I know I haven't posted for a while, but there is a really good reason for that and I think most of you know why. My blog was destroyed. Arya is supposed to be helping me make a new one, but she hasn't yet.
A couple days ago, my family went to VA to look for a house and we found one we really liked, so we are bidding on it and praying that the Lord will allow us to have it.
I will try and post later on. Bye

Piano Playing
Hey Everyone,
Sorry it's been so long since I posted, we have been really busy. I just wanted to share with you all that I was asked to play the piano at a dinner for a bunch of Marines and their wives. It was actually really fun and I had to play like 30 songs. Thankfully I have a lot of piano music that was appropriate for a sit down dinner. Anyway just thought I would try to find something to post about.

Pictures from Horse Back Riding!

My friend and I getting the horses to saddle them up.

Me and Jewel.

Murdoch thought my friend had a treat for him.

Like I was saying, he thought there was a treat in there.
Jewel had hurt her leg, so I was seeing if she was still limping.

Murdoch, he wasn't very happy because he was left alone when we took the other horses down to the other side.

MAD!!!!!

This is me riding the other horse. Her name is Mama because she is the mother of another horse they had.

The next couple of pictures are of me riding Mama.

I was trying to tie my reins.

I was letting her take a rest.

Well, there they are. It was a lot of fun because I don't get to ride horses that often. God Bless Everyone!!!!

Mission's Trip
Hello Everyone,
I have been wanting to post about this for a while, anyway, here it is. In July (I think) of 2007, our church went to Fairmont WV for a mission's trip to go and help families reconstruct or paint or do something to help them. Usually it is elderly people who can't do to much or it can be someone very young but who still need help. Our church was not the only group who went, there were a lot more, and we actually made friends with other people, especially one church, Christ church in GA. We got to scrape old paint off of the house we were working on, then we had to prime it then we painted, believe it or not, it took 1 whole week to do it. It was SOOOO much fun though because we were with friends (from church). On Wednesday, we got a half day off, so we got at the jobsite at 9:30 or so and worked till about 12 then we went back to camp and changed in swiming suits cause we were going to a Wave Pool. First we went to play our violins for some friends of one of the couples who went with us. The Husband had had a stroke about 11 years before, and he was in a wheelchair, and had a handicap , but he absolutely loved it when we played for him. That was a big blessing to be able to bless them. So after that, we went to the pool, and had a blast. Then we went out for mexican food for dinner, then out for ice cream. So that was my favorite day. Back at camp, there was a volleyball court, so we played pretty much every night and had a blast. We tried to play Ultimate Frisbee on this BIG hill, but that didn't work, out so well. So I wanted to share some of what we did up there, and here is some pictures. God Bless!!!!
Oh.....we have another one this year and my whole family is going.

Swing Dancing!!!
Hello Everyone,
We had a blast Swing Dancing. We learned a lot more. I had done it before when I went to the Marine Corps ball this past year with my mom and dad. I learned how to do the flip, which is SOOO cool. The male who I am dancing with flips me backwards, and I land on my feet, well... I am supposed to, I did, but one of my friends didn't. LOL!!! I danced with my brother, and my sisters friend, and two other guys who you all would not know. Anyway, I wanted to share that with you, it might not be interesting to you, but I thought it was pretty neat to be there. Well, God bless you all!!!

Bible Trivia!!!
Hey everyone,
Last night our church had a Bible Trivia . We had lots of fun. I was team 3 and team 2 won. Last year that our church did this, my team won and I had the same captain as this time. We cam e in second though, so that was nice. It was still loads of fun.We had to name all the New Testament books, but team 2 beat us to it, and we had to name all 10 plagues but we didn't get that right. There were some very hard ones, and some very easy ones. So I just wanted to share that with everyone, and I will post after our Swind Dancing night as well. God Bless You all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother!
I would like to share with you all what happened to my baby brother when he was born. He was born with fluid in his lungs and he almost died. I was at the hospital with my mom and dad while my older brother was at home with my younger siblings. We saw the doctors throwing paper and stuff all across the room trying to save his life. The doctor who was taking care of Joshua saved his life. He put a chest tube in him to drain out all the fluid. Then later his oxygen level went to 15 % and they had to stabalize him to send him to Pitt Memorial hospital in Greenville, NC. Mom, dad, and I went home to pack, and then drove there while Joshua was being flown. He was there for two weeks, and I stayed there also to help my mom because my dad is in the Marine Corps, and he had to go to work every now and then. Joshua was put in the New Born ICU. They took great care of him and we got to see him everyday. I spent most of my time each day in the waiting room while my mom and dad were with Joshua in the back. I took naps in there and watched Animal Planet on their TV and crocheted and stuff. We prayed everyday for him as did our church. We thank the Lord to this for giving him to us and allowing him to live. He is one year old now, and doing great. THANK THE LORD!!!!!! Here is a picture of him!! God Bless everyone!

Sunday Sailing!
Hello everyone! I wanted to share the experiance I had on Sunday, the 10th. I went sailing on th New River with our friends, the Akins. The water was rather bitter, and the tide was what you would call wild. We got up to a speed of about 30 MPH while my brother Michael was on something called a trapeze(his favorite part). He hooks up to a rope on the side of the boat, and hangs over the side of the edge, and this makes up dramatically pick up speed. Sailing is something I would definately like to do again. Have a great day everyone.
