USMC Pistol and Rifle Expert Qualification Badges

Authorized to US Marine Corps personnel who by personal skill demonstrate an ability and agility to operate USMC firearms under challenging and stressful conditions as measured by simulated combat exercises and testing. These personnel shall be relied upon by their comrades to perform with a high degree of accuracy at considerably distant range under real combat conditions.

My husband has a kajillion of these; both pistol and rifle.
He's an "Expert" shot.
He proved it annually while he was active duty.
And the man can still shoot even now that he's retired.

So I can't help but get tickled when I see this:
I mean, seriously, this is how close he gets:
It must be a "man" thing....

That's GREAT! YES, it MUST be a man thing! Well, at least they're parallel? And they appear to be "right-side-out," so he's one up on MY husband!

It always makes me laugh to realize my man is not the only one doing these sorts of things.
He is 'expert' marksman too, but I never correlated that with the lack of laundry placement like you did. Hm! I will have to tell him this one!

My ex-army sharp shooter seems to have the same problem. Maybe someone should invent a laundry shooter rifle. I'm sure they would hit their mark everytime then. : )

Last night, in an act of pure self-defense, I approached the Boss, who was sitting on the couch reading a book to Major Havoc, and asked her if she was going out of the house anymore. She replied, "No." I promptly removed her shoes, took off her socks, and put them in the hamper. It saved me the effort of picking them off of the floor later. I'm the only person in my house who does not leave dirty socks on the floor, on the furniture, on the book shelves, on the kitchen table, on the TV, on the computer keyboard...

too funny!

But I'll have to echo Arby - my husband is far better at putting dirty clothes where they belong than I am. He has been known to pick up after me - I honestly just don't see the stuff!

BTW - I appreciate your comments on my blog - you are a good friend :)

*Baaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha!*

It's a man thing.

I tried asking my husband about the Hansel and Gretel thing with clothing in the bedroom. *sigh* I told him the laundry location would never change and assured him a trail to find it again was unnecessary. :'P

It is definately a man thing- (and a kid thing) unless the kids just follow the man-exacmple. Ugh! I know things get so-o-o close yet I still have to do the job! I guess we need to be thankful they are trying!!??
Your post made me chuckle though because I've just been talking to my oldest child about how they haven't been obeying because the jobs don't get done- they get close but she isn't completing things and it is just laziness as it is just so-o-o close (and then she gives up or gives in and goes to do what she wants)
The fun of life- wouldn't give it up yet I'd love a housekeeping robot! :)
Have a great week!

Of course the real question is . . . can he hit the toilet?

I saw this earlier in the week and could not comment. It resonated with me. Today when I noticed my daughter had 'put her dirty clothes away' in the bathtub of all places, I thought of you.
