• Thursday, November 3, 2005 - Craig Family Update - Continued Prayers NEEDED!
I received another email from Danelle... please keep them in your prayers! It's not over yet for them, as you will read. May God be glorified!
"Thank you for writing again. Our hearing went very well, and God calmed our hearts long enough to be on the witness stand! We are going back to court tomorrow (November 3rd) because the opposing attorney is calling back the ME. It should be a rather short part of the hearing. The judge wants everything to be done this week. When we are all done with hearings, the judge will take time to think about her decision. She has as long as she wants, but I am praying that with the holidays coming up, she will let us know soon!
Thank you for your continued prayers! Danelle"
May the judge have a speedy decision that is the Lord's will, and may this family be brought together for the holidays!
Dear friends at Dandelion Seeds,
I have been trying to email you Amy, but I have not been able to. I hope this gets to you.
I’m sure you all are anxious to hear how things went in court yesterday, so we’ll get down to it!
We are all through with the hearings. Every one has rested and PRAISE THE LORD we will not have to sit before the judge any more! The opposing attorney has until December 1st to submit her closing statements in written form, and our lawyers have until the 7th of December. After December 7th we will just be waiting to hear the judge’s ruling.
Up until yesterday the “rule” was that we were only allowed to see our children when Department of Family Services was present. Of course this severely limited our time with our children. We would see Tim, Kyah, Jordan and Riley only four hours each week.
On November 17th the judge ruled that Richelle, Dani’s sister and also the Primary Care Provider for our children, could start to supervise our visits. This means that we will be able to see our children EVERY DAY!!!
We know that you all will be rejoicing with us! God’s hand was so mighty in that courtroom and we can’t stop thanking and praising HIM FOR HIS BOUNTIFUL GRACE!! Our Lord has been so good!
After we left the courthouse we went to see our children! It was the first time is SIX MONTHS that we were able to give our children baths and tuck them into bed! How precious it was to hear them say their bedtime prayers! It was impossible to keep the tears from flowing!
We want to say a most grateful “Thank You” for all of your steadfast prayers! Your support has been a tremendous blessing to us, and there were days when we know God used YOU to lift our hearts!
May God bless you as you have blessed us!
BECAUSE OF HIM
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
