• Wednesday, December 14, 2005 - A Mother's T.R.E.K. - Melissa

Please pray for Melissa Snow and her family.  She is a wife and mother of six girls and a newborn son and has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain cancer. Please post this on your blog as well and spread the word.

As I sat reading her site, the tears flowed uncontrollably as I tried to imagine myself in her shoes.  It reminds me once again of my call as a woman of God, wife, and mother.  Nothing else really matters...
  • My relationship with my Lord calls me to be willing to leave everything and follow Him, even if that means my husband and children... whether He chooses to take them, or me away from this earth...
  • My relationship with my husband should be one that I never take advantage of and love with every breath I have in me, no matter what...
  • And, my relationship with my children should be one that I take comfort in knowing I've raised them in a way pleasing to the Lord, for they are really His.
So, please join me in my T.R.E.K. (Totally Random Events with Kids) as I spend tomorrow with my children... just enjoying them for the little gifts from heaven that they truly are.  We never know when these precious moments will end... let's enjoy them with great passion!

In Him,
Amy

Hi Amy, Thanks for sharing about Melissa. I have known about Dr Lorraine Day for a couple of years now - she has battled cancer naturally and won after being at deaths door and I know others who have used her methods - simple things you and I would do at home and who have also won the battle. I just rececently listened to her audio messages on CD and I believe her video is also excellent. You can find them at http://www.americancassette.org/ and then find her under the speakers tab. I worked for 14 months in the USA in 2002-2004 and I saw cancer patients that I worked with using these methods recover slowly - I know first hand that God blesses this and that it really does work, so you may want to mention this to her. I did click on her name, but the link didn't work. In Him, Colleen
