Friday, August 1, 2008 - Pray for Greg Laurie and family this morning...
My heart is heavy this morning as I think about the hours before the memorial service for Christopher Laurie... and I just can't stop thinking about Brittany, his pregnant wife and child, Stella. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for her this morning, and as I try to put myself in her shoes, I think of the baby... their baby, moving inside her as a constant reminder of their love going on. Whether you have plans to watch the service, post a comment on Greg's blog, or set aside the time to lift the family in prayer... remember that we aren't promised a time here on earth, and even in the most "inconvenient" times, life can turn upside down. Hold your loved ones a little longer today... call them and tell them you love them... write a letter saying everything you've ever wanted to say... don't waste another moment.

That's a page right out of my book - I know first hand on this and I am a firm believer that you can not say I love you too often - AND there is nothing worth closing a door on a friend or a family member - (we may not always agree.... but we can always give it to God).
Thank you Amy for this and we are praying here for the family
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
