So, why do mothers/wives even have birthdays? Seriously... I've been through enough them over the years to know not to get my hopes up and think that the day could be set aside to pamper mom... but still, every year I have this little bit of hope that it will be special. I guess today is different than last year... my hubby was away on business last year for my birthday, and this morning I
did wake up to him (right before I got up to make him breakfast), and I did receive a couple of dear homemade cards from my children (and then walked down in the basement to do a load of laundry... passing by the mess left from the card-making last night). I also have already cleaned the bathroom, livingroom and hallway. Hey... what am I complaining about? I mean, inbetween the one year old's crying jags (he's terribly sick), I've been getting a lot of cleaning done!
Happy Birthday to me! a;lskdfjsa;dlkfj;aslkdjfasdlkjf
SHARE and Tell:
- Share a "mom birthday" story for us to laugh together (no sad ones please... I want to have a good chuckle... a;sldkjf;asldkfj)
- Then, in "honor" of this day... go clean your toilet, or someone else's for that matter, and make them feel special.

I'm off to scrub my kitchen floor!
Blessings,
Amy
(A more serious post to come later in the day...
