Aug. 18, 2006 - Patriotic Friday

This is my husband arriving in Kuwait last month. Here is a cool story about the little guy he's holding. A fun method of keeping in touch with our daughter while he is away. Isn't he clever?
Last night I spent quite a bit of time listening to tribute music. Folks all over the country who have written and recorded music that supports our troops. I can't remember if I got the link off a homeschoolblogger Patriotic Friday post, or in an email from my local FAC. Regardless, it is worth posting again here on Patriotic Friday...just in case anyone missed it! Show Your Support.
While we are on the subject of patriotic music, does anyone know about a lady who wrote a song for her husband, then later recorded it for others to hear? I read about her a while back in USAA's magazine, bookmarked her web site, then promptly lost all my bookmarks, and forgot her name and the name of her song! I can't find it through Google, (since I can't remember anything about it!)
