• Jan. 22, 2008 - Quilting Progress

Inspite of all the excitment of playing in the snow, Candace and I (with some help from Cassie) managed to put two of the six big blocks together. I never would have picked orange, but I really like the way this looks. I think the red blocks set it off, don't you? It will be a cheerful quilt for sure. The cat faces aren't my own creation. I found them on the web and then drew my own pattern.

I'll keep everyone posted on our progress.

I love the cat faces and the rest of what you've gotten done on the quilt...wishing I had the patience to do quilting. Sure would be nice in our teen degree weather in KY.

I agree. I'm not a big fan of orange (or yellow, for that matter). But it really works Very cheery on a cold winter day!
