Well we've made it a total of 8 days thus far. Just not in a row......lol. Yesterday was a thrid day in a row. Today I let my son ride with grandpa while raking hay with the team.
Caleb's response was, "I don't want to argue with you on my schoolwork, becuase I will always do that."
Oye nice kiddo eh? Yesterday it took almost 4 hours to do the work I had set up and too be honest it shouldn't have taken that long. Maybe 2 but he was stalling a lot. We took many breaks as we did laundry and he helped and whatnot. But there was still stalling. When he's in the middle of something I'm not going to give in becuase he'll think he can always get away with that.
HIs comment was "I don't like doing work every day." Well hello if you were going to PS you'd be doing more then I have you do. And not as many breaks.
Sunday we went tubing down the river as a family. Had a blast. We found a freshwater mussel(aka clam) that hadn't been opened by a fish. So we brought him home. He's currently in caleb's bathroom sink. I need to get something to put him in, get him some sand from the river with some water and see how long we can manage to keep him. |

Very cool on the clam. I'm getting quite a collection of animal finds at my house too. But what better way to learn about something?
