~Stawberry Picking Time~
My show n' tell this week is our strawberry picking and jam making fun! I've always wanted to take the girls strawberry picking and make some jam to enjoy later. We went and picked strawberries on Tuesday, then made jam on Wednesday.

Liz loved eating the berries as we picked, Grace not so much.

Our beautiful bounty!

Smashing the berries.
Stirring up the jam.
And our beautiful end results.

Linda, I really enjoyed reading this post-it looks like a wonderful day-I can almost smell the strawberry jam. I am hoping we get to do this before the strawberry season is all done. The girls are so beautiful. Holly

I LOVE strawberries. We get them in March here in Fl and they are so yummy. I made jam two years ago and I'm kicking myself for not doing it again this year.
Enjoy the bounty!!

What a fun Show & Tell. We made strawberry jam for the first time this year. It wasn't as much fun as picking (and eating while picking) the berries, but both activities had yummy results. =)

Looks wonderful!
I'll tell you a secret; I have never in my life canned anything. The closest I have ever done is blanch and freeze carrots. :o(

Ooooo... yum! Those look good! This is our second year of growing strawberries and it looked like we were going to have a very plentiful harvest. But then the flash flood came and turned all the berries to a brown mush. Yesterday, however, I went out and checked them again and we have some new strawberries growing! Yay! I was glad about that.

What a harvest! We've never done that. Your girls look like they're enjoying berries! I just got two nice mature plants at a garage sale, and they have berries on them. Other than that, check out my Show N Tell this week for what the boys found in the yard.....
