Overweight Kids

After watching a group of 40-odd homeschool kids ages 5-13 do their musical theater production of Aristocats, I realized that as a whole, the homeschool kids I know are not overweight at all. Compared to kids I see in the malls, going to school, the kids' Cubs and Girl Guides groups, church etc., homeschool kids, on an average seem to be quite fit.

From the homeschool co-op I coordinated last year, I can only recall one little girl who was a bit chubby but all the other ones seem very healthy and lean.

Just got me thinking . . .

That is very interesting, now that I think about it we have the same thing with our homeschool group. I know there are a handful of overweight kids. My son is a big boy but I wouldn't say overweight.

We are homeschooled and are very healthy and are not over weight.
When we get up we go outside and play,we dont start school till in the afternoon.When I was in first grade I was not homeschooled.I would get up at 7 eat and go to school I sat in a class room all day till lunch,or time to go out and play for maybe 10 minutes
at 3 00 I went home and sat some more and did hours of home work.
I think that is the reason why kids who go to school are over weight.
Going to school is horrible.

I LOVE HOMESCHOOLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
