About Me 
We just finished a year of reading every Tomie dePaola book possible! My youngest loved the pictures and hearing Tomie's voice and my oldest loved hearing stories from Tomie's youth. I loved hearing how loving and encouraging Tomie's mom was to him and his siblings. May my children remember me with such fondness! We just read Tomie dePaola's new book Why? It was so awesome! It just covers 1942 and a few family members head to war. He even taught us a few art lessons! Tomie's books are so great to start family conversations with grandparents about "What was it like in 1942 for you Grandma?" |
