I know that this book has been available for several years but it is new to me. Oh, what a wonderful resource! Just about everything you could possible want to know about keeping a home is included in this book. Some of the topics: food safety, how to fold sheets, different types of countertops for kitchens, pets, clothing, cooking, caring for books, fireplaces, china, lighting and many more! Home Comforts is BIG books, 884 pages including the index. I bought my hardcover version from Amazon for $23.10 and I think, without doubt, it is worth every penny. This book would be a wonderful gift for a new bride … or an experienced one! J
