If you've not visited yet (even though I told you about it already) give this site a peek.  You register (yuck) and give either an e-mail address that can be confirmed or some other form of ID like a credit card (I used e-mail) and get access to free digital books.  The selection is somewhat limited but the site offers several Project packs for kids including one for Egypt, the Civil War, World War II... you get the idea. The Beatrice Potter books are available as well.  There are also lots of famous speeches in the articles section. 

I don't know that I'll print everything I've downloaded, but I've found plenty of things that I'm willing to download (for free) in order to have them on hand just in case I want them.   You are limited to 5 downloads a day.   Which is why I'm posting about the site again, I'm waiting to download my next set of 5 and had the site on my mind.
