Jun. 20, 2008 - Cooking Rice
I just got a rice cooker so I am officially set to make oodles and oodles of rice for Praising and Bernice.
No updates on their case. Though we did hear that cases are continuing to be finalized as the laws are being rewritten. Those cases were referred to families from Jan to March.
We accepted Praising and Bernice’s referral in early May. So it still looks like some more time to wait.
At least now I can perfect my rice making skills. Add water, brown rice, and press the cook button. Done and perfectly cooked.
Wouldn’t you know that I did put the water and rice in the cooker and forgot to push the cook button!!

I add a can of chili starter from the store and the kids have beans and rice. They eat it like it is the best thing I make ~

That sounds like something I might do...hope you remembered in time for dinner. Oh well, there is always cereal, right!
