• Jul. 22, 2006 - We bought a house and delivered it by truck today!!
Guess what we did today?! We bought a house.. a play house that is...
There is a paper in our town.. The Message Board. You can place
ads with no charge for things you want to sell. We have furnished
most of our new home purchasing items through this paper. It has
been a great way for us to save money. I have been looking for
several years for a play house for the children... since they are so
expensive to build.
Well, recently I finally saw a play house! However, we were
leaving town that next day and we could not go see it or look at
it. I was sad that I was going to miss out on this deal.
Imagine our surprise yesterday when we called and found it was not sold
yet! So today.. we borrowed my brother-in-law's truck and trailer
and set off to get a house! The drive took about 45 minutes and
to get it on the trailer was a fiasco...took forever. It was a
success.. thanks to my very smart husband and brother-in-law!
The drive home was nerve-wracking.. to say the least.. praying every
minute that it would not topple over. The next post
belowwill be the story via pictures!
- that was beautiful!. i thought for a while that God would have wanted me to marry a deaf man too..lol... because of my love for the deaf and sign language, i thought that must be it. but God has different plan for me. i am very happy where He has put me right now. i love that picture of you both. i remembered seeing your husband and i think i must have known you from the vizzinis stories. but your face is so familiar, i just can't figure out where exactly did i see you when you guys were in angeles. will you tell me more of your stay in angeles? ~ melanie
