Feeling better

Posted in Everyday Events
We are finally recovering from our illness.  What a long week it has been.  Sickness is not a fun break.

I did hand out the assignment sheets on Tuesday and let them do what they could around naps.

On Tuesday and Wednesday I spent almost the entire day working on scrapbooks.  I do Creative Memory Scrapbooks for each of the children plus a family one.  I had not worked on them for about 4 years so I was way over due.  I was able to get our oldest caught up to the point I wanted to stop at.  Now I am working on the second oldest.  I have so much fun doing them.

Today we got back into the swing of things with school.  They are trying to get caught up and I am trying to get the house back into shape.  I think it will take more than what my weak body can handle today though.  I may have to spend the afternoon scrapbooking to recover from my cleaning this morning.  :)

I'm glad you all are feeling better. :)

I wish you had trackbacks allowed. But that's ok. I'm linking to your blog, which should still do the trick.

I don't comment often enough, but I enjoy reading how you do things.

It sounds like I could have written it. I will be 40 in a few months and have so wanted to enter my 40's a different person than I am now. I also have quite a bit a weight to lose and tend to beat myself up when I fail and then shut down and so nothing.

It is encouraging to hear of what God has taught you and how you have responded to Him.

I just had to comment on your blog!! I love reading it...your family sounds like so much fun...can I come join your family nights?!? ha ha I also am inspired by you to begin planning our menu in advance. I'm so sick and tired of asking "what does everyone want for dinner tonight?" and getting the "I donno" response. This way everyone will be prepared and I can even shop accordingly. If you don't mind, I'll put you on my friends list and keep checking back here. Thanks for sharing your family with others.

P.S. You're not old...I too recently turned 40 (this past Nov) and you know what, I too need to lose weight. It all came with age, birthing my children and of course my love of food! = ) hee hee
