I will be out for the weekend. I will get a post done when I get back from my weekend vacation in sunny south Florida with hubby..... Don't get sunburnt while I am gone.

We have been working on the driveway. We have been patching it and sealing it. We are about 2/3 done. It is a lot bigger than it seems.

Saturday we spent the day up at the rental house working on the deck.

Hubby is down in Florida again this week. Monday was sewing day. Tuesday was errands.

The rest of the week was busy with cleaning out the car and truck, laundry and cleaning the house. Hubby is getting ready to go down to Miami for the week. He will be back late Friday night. This week will be busy for the girls and I, we will be getting stuff ready for the trip to Florida.

She is such a great friend. 

We have had a very busy week. We did a lot of packing as well as all our regular activities. Monday was stitch club, and an end of summer party at the LA library.

Tuesday was a trip to Santa Fe for office stuff and knitting night at the library.

Wednesday was knitting is White Rock. Thursday was park day and an end of summer party and movie in White Rock. Friday is errand day in Esp. and more packing.   

The fair is this weekend so there are concerts in the park, craft fairs, parade, and rodeo.

I got a new toy for my yarn. Mine was a lot less expensive, but still nice.

  We found out that Hubby will be done here the middle of the month. We will either be going back to Minnesota or to southern Florida. We will find out more this week.

I have really gotten to like this area. It will be hard to leave; we have some really good friends already. I will miss them a lot.

We went shopping Saturday in S.F. Our first stop was the shoe store. I got new tennis shoes (which costs more than my monthly budget).

Then we went to the mall to find hubby some tennis shoes (which cost about as much as lunch at McD’s). That is totally unfair that he can get a pair of shoes for that price. Then we stopped at Sam’s of course and stocked up on gum (can’t live without the gum). On the way to hobby lobby, we stopped at the dealer’s to look at a car and got distracted by a truck. Unfortunately the truck was in bad shape and they wanted way too much for it, so now truck.

Hobby lobby was another blow to the monthly budget.

Stash Enhancement eXpedition

I got some cotton, sock yarn and the girls of course each got some yarn.  

Sunday was church and hiking after lunch. We of course stopped at the lot to look at the trucks on the way out of town. We took a short hike and found lots of raspberries that we sampled a lot of.

This week will be very busy with the regular stuff, plus hunting for boxes and packing supplies. We are going to try to get most of the packing done early.
