I'm Going On a Trip!!!

Hey guys!!! I won't be on much. I'm going on a trip. Yes, I'm going to a baseball game. Yes it's a minor league game, and no, it's not the normal team I go see... Well anyway, I'll prob be on sometime on Sunday, or possible Monday. Oh and yes, I did end up getting sick. It was misery. Blech! I hate being sick!!!

Matt LaPorta

Hey guys!!! So I was on MiLB.com earlier, and I saw a link to a journal entry of minor leaguer Matt LaPorta. I was bored, so I clicked on it. I was reading it, and when I got to the end, it had a scripture verse. I thought that was really cool, so I read more entries, and in almost every entry there was a scripture verse. In one entry he even said ppl could email him prayer requests!!! I thought that was so cool, so I emailed him. I hope he writes back.

Hey!!!!! Well my drums are at my house now!!! YAY!!! I absolutely positively stink. Maybe I'll post a vid just to show ya'll how bad I am so that when I get good, you can be shocked. lol!!!! So yeah... Everyone in my family is sick but me... *sigh* Not fun. Hey did anyone notice I have 392 comments now??? If not, well then guess what!!! I have 392 comments now!!! YAY ME!!!!! Keep up the good work!!! I'd really like to get to 400 soon, so comment!!!! Yesterday I decided to be an idiot and stuck my finger in a fan. Now my finger's all cut up... MY DRUMS CAME!!!!!

Hey guys!!!! My drum set came!!! IT IS SO COOL!!!!! We haven't gotten to take them home from my dad's work, so he's gonna take me over there each nigth to play til we finish getting our playroom clean. We did take the snare home, so I've been playing that... Yeah... I love it!!!! Once I get good, I'm gonna post a video of me playing!!!

An Entry About Baseball Cards

Hey guys!!!! I've been buying baseball cards lately. I bought some yesterday, and today. (And I got some good ones!!!!) So I decided I would count all my cards. First, I counted all the cards in my book. 837. Then I counted all the ones from that minor league game, which is in a separate book. 27. Then I counted all the cards in a box my grandma gave me for my birthday. 497. (It would be 500, but 3 are in my book) Then I counted all the cards my assistant coach in softball gave me. 546. Grand total!!! 1,950 cards!!!! I know most of you card collectors reading this are thinking "Man... That's not a lot of cards..." but I've only been collecting for a year and 6 months, so I think I'm doing pretty good. I have 14 Derek Jeter cards too!!!! In fact, yesterday I bought a box of Upper Deck 2008 Series 2 cards. The box had 10 packs of cards in it, and each pack had 8 cards. One special collection of cards that Upper Deck is doing this year are Star Quest cards. They are ranked by color. Silver and green are common, and so forth until you get to Gold, which is Ultra Rare, meaning rare (which is a blue card) is one rank below that. I had several common ones from packs I'd bought earlier that year, but nothing really special. So anyway, I opened one of the packs, and the first thing I see is a blue Starquest card. I was like "NO WAY!!!!!" and my mom and Ashley looked at me and they were like "What???" I was like "Dude I got a Starquest Rare card!!!!!) Then I was like "Hmm... I wonder who it is...???" So I flipped the card and shrieked again!!!! Once again my mom and Ashley were like "What???" then I said "DUDE!!!!! I GOT A DEREK JETER STARQUEST RARE CARD!!!!" So yeah that was pretty exciting!!! A little later, I found a Felix Hernandez Ultra Rare card!!!! So I was pretty happy!!!! Here are a list of cool cards I've gotten in the last two days.

Hey!!!!

Hey!!! I went to another minor league baseball game tonight!!! Chad (Ya'll remember him right???) won them the game!!! Plus I got a t-shirt with his name and number. After the game I went to the clubhouse, and watched them load all their stuff on the bus, while talking to this guy and his kids. Chad came out and did something, then went back in the clubhouse, then out again, and puts his bag on the bus, then went inside it. I was like "Man! I missed my chance. Then he came back out and started signing. He was almost to me, when that guy I had been talking to was like "Chad! We have your #1 fan right here!!!! She has the shirt and everything!!!" Chad was like "All right!!!!!" so he came over to us. First he signed my shirt, then I asked him if I could have a pic taken with him (again...) and he said of course, cause I mean come on, who doesn't like their #1 fan!!! So a kid's mom (the kid was standing next to me) grabbed the camera and takes a pic. Here are 3 of my fav pics!!!

Baseball News

Hey guys!!! A lot has been going on in the baseball world. For example, the Yankees signed catcher Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez on Wednesday, to replace Jorge Posada who had season ending shoulder surgery, Wednesday. The Tigers got reliever Kyle Farnsworth in return, who was very emotional about the trade, and even broke down and cried while talking to reporters after finding out the news. The Braves sent first baseman Mark Teixera to the Angels, for first baseman Casey Kotchman, and pitcher Steve Marek. (I actually though this trade was a dumb one, and the Braves needed Teixera, but that's just me...) The Reds sent outfielder Ken Griffey Jr. to the White Sox for pitcher Nick Masset, and minor league prospect Danny Richar. The most notable trade that's happened this week is a three way trade between the Dodgers, Red Sox, and Pirates. Okay let me explain. The Dodgers get outfielder Manny Ramirez from the Red Sox. The Red Sox get outfielder Jason Bay from the Pirates, and the Pirates get minor league prospects from both teams. Craig Hansen, (pitcher) and Brandon Moss (outfielder) from the Red Sox, Andy LaRoche, (infielder) and Bryan Morris (pitcher) from the Dodgers.

The Yankees are in third place in the AL East, with a record of 59 wins and 49 losses. Tampa Bay is in first, and the Red Sox are in second.

Another thing I though was pretty cool, if you used to go to my blogs Yankees213 and YankeesGirl, you probably remember me telling you about the team who won the '07 LLWS, Warner Robins American Little League. Well Warner Robins is in the division series again, and have a chance to go back to the LLWS and make it two in a row for Warner Robins, and 3 in a row for GA. In fact, two players from last year are on the team, Payton Pervis and Hunt Smith.

Hey!

Hey guys!!! Well I thought it was about time to post, so yeah, I'm posting. Hmm... Not a whole lot has happened lately. My dad came home Monday, so I'm glad to have him back!!! We're going to a baseball game Friday!!! YAY!!! Hopefully, I'll get to talk to some of the players, and get a lot of autographs. So far I only have six cards signed... So... Well not much's going on, and I have pretty much nothing to say, so bye!!!

THANK GOD

OH THANK GOD!!!! Once again the baseball world is back to normal!!! And that's because the Yankees signed outfielder Xavier Nady. Ergo, Barry Bonds is left in the cold!!!! Phew, the Yankees had me worried there... So yeah after I posted earlier we went bowling!!! Man it was fun!!!! I bowled 3 strikes!!! YAY!!! I lost the first round, (I hadn't bowled in a while, so I was a little rusty and only scored 38 points...) but I won the second one!!! YAY!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Last night I read the most horrible thing in the whole entire world!!!! The Yankees are considering signing Barry Bonds!!!! *CRIES* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! THE YANKEES CAN'T SIGN BARRY BONDS!!!!! That would mean my FAVORITE player AND my LEAST FAVORITE player would be on the SAME TEAM, MY TEAM!!!! Barry Bonds does NOT belong on the YANKEES!!!!!!!!!

Barry Bonds + Yankees = BAD COMBO!!!

The Yankees do not need the horrible controversy surrounding Barry Bonds.

Hey Guys!

Wow, I haven't posted in like a week!!! Well not much has happened. I haven't been to any games or anything... *cries* I did get my Derek Jeter mii up to pro at golf and boxing today on Wii Sports, which means I'm a pro at tennis, bowling, golf and bowing. The only thing he's not a pro at is baseball (go figure...) Well my dad's leaving to go to Guatamala tomorrow, I'm really gonna miss him!!! If ya'll could pray for him, that'd be great!!!!

The Yankees have won the last like 6 games!!!!! They're like 3.5 games out of first place!!!!!

Hey

Hey guys!!!! Well I got to go to another game Monday. It was SO FUN!!!! Plus I got to have my pic taken with my fav player, Chad! (You don't need to know his last name.) IDK if I'll post it though, I look kinda dumb in it... Well I bought some baseball cards like I said I would, and I got six of them signed... Yeah that's all I was able to get... I did get Chad to sign his card which was pretty cool! So yeah I don't really have a whole lot to say, but I thought it was time to post a new entry!!!

OH YEAH!!! The AL won the All Star game!!!! YAY!!! I think they've beat the NL for like 12 straight years now... So, yeah, GO AL!!!!

Hey!!!!! We went to a minor league baseball game last night!!!! Man it was fun!!!! Plus we might go again tomorow!!!!! I got a ball, then got it covered in autographs!!!!! I'll post pics later!!!! Tomorrow if we go, I'm gonna buy a pack of the cards they sell that has teh whole team, then I'll have them all sign their card!!!! Then I'll buy a book to put just the autographed cards in. Then, each year, I'll buy a new pack, get the guys to sign it, then put it in the book!!!!

Can We Truly Trust Anyone???

Yeah, more on Alex and Cynthia. As ya'll may or may not know, Cynthia filed for divorce because she said Alex had an affair. Now she admits that she too had an affair!!!!! Plus now Alex is into some freaky religion, so we seriously need to keep them in our prayers. I've sent him an email on his official site, informing him I'd been praying. So yeah. I'm kinda irritated.

All Star Game Report

Hey!!!!! Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez both made All Stars!!!!! I can't wait to watch the All Star game!!!! (July 15) Closer Mariano Rivera also made it, making it a Yankees Trio. So yeah, the American League had better win or else I'll be VERY disappointed. My fav NL player, Chase Utley made it too. I wish he played for the Yankees, I think he's way better than their current 2nd Baseman Robinson Cano, not that he's not good or anything, cause he is.

Plus, Happy Birthday Derek Jeter, who turned 34 on June 26.
