It's been a few years since we have been in Hong Kong as a family. And in that time, Hong Kong Disney has been built! What a treat!
Although the park is small, the ticket price is relatively inexpensive (compared to the Florida Disney). For less than a one day FL pass, we bought a "cheap-o" annual pass to HK Disney which allows us to visit the park on Monday through Friday. Weekends are not allowed on this pass, but who cares? The park is a delight on the weekdays; the guests are so few!
So here are some photos of us meeting the characters throughout the park.
It seemed to me that there were more character meeting opportunities in HK than in FL. We really enjoyed that! Sprite collected signatures of each character we met.
I'm a huge Disney fan, so I really enjoyed this post! I can't imagine an uncrowded day at a Disney theme park, so your day must have been very enjoyable. Sprite got pictures with so many of the characters. We're going to Disneyland this summer and I can't wait! It's been 5 years since our last trip there. You're so lucky there's a Disney theme park in HK. All the best!

We love the Paris one for the same reason, smaller, quieter and you can see everything! It is not so overwhelming for the littlies! We will wait till they are much older before attempting Florida as it will be a once in a lifetime.
I'm jealous though. I have boys only so we never get to meet the princesses!!! I need to borrow a girl to take next time! LOL!
Looks like yall had a lot of fun!! I've only been to Tokyo Disney . . . and it was fun because I was able to go with two little girls--seeing them enjoy all the magic made it oh so much more enjoyable!
Wow! My cousin helped put together the shows for this Disney in Hong Kong. It's great to see photos of all the characters. What fun! Thanks for sharing...
How fun. So, these characters are Americans living in Hong Kong? Interesting. Why do you think it is not well attended? I hope you've had a great trip.

That looks like such fun! We love the Disney parks in Florida. I'd love to someday be able to visit their parks abroad as well. I can't believe you got annual passes for so cheap.
I've seen you and Sprite, but never your hubby~ it was fun to see these family pictures. You guys look so happy!

What FUN photos! Looks just like FL. My kids loved getting pics and signatures from all the character too! Thanks for sharing the photos!
Have a great week!

The girl that played SnowWhite actually looked quite a bit like her. That's unusual. And how cool that you can go all the rest of the year now. Even twice would make it worth the cost. Sortof like me and zoo memberships....(gotta have one every where)
Very cool to be the first few people to ride Its A Small World!! And yea, you cant beat that wait time with a stick!!
Some of the characters dont look of Asian decent....are there americans working there?
You have some great character pics!
I notice that it seems less crowded...in the backgrounds of the pics.
We go to Disney during the slowest times of the year over here. My kids are looking over my shoulder and asking if they have resorts right on the premises like here.

~^~Why "One Child Policy Homeschool"? I happen to have an only child, and I live in China. It is just my attempt at a witty name for the blog.
