Here are some views of our apartment complex. I love the way it's green and looks like an old fashioned Chinese home.
These garden areas are in the middle of the complex. They are shared areas to walk around and enjoy fresh air.
Look at this door! Isn't it great! It looks just like the old doors that used to be used in China.
We are going today-- our first night in our new home! Sprite and I are very exited! Then DH will follow tomorrow with our boxes of belongings.
Congratulations and best wishes in your new home. I love your garden area (even if they are common areas). They are beautiful. You will have marvelous opportunities now for nature study and sketching.
Now for unpacking...ugh...though I'm still packing...UGH. The whole packing/unpacking thing...yuck! May it all be put away quickly. :o)
That garden is amazing! What a lovely looking place to live. I hope you can put down some roots here. At least it will be a little easier to do your Outdoor hour challenge huh? :o)
What a lovely garden area! I love the gargoyle-type things as well. =) Is the inside of the apartment as lovely? Will you be posting inside pictures?
Are there apartment rules in China? In Germany you're not allowed to flush your toilet between certain hours, and you must be very very quiet at all times...it's bad news if you have active children. Anything like that in China?
How about apartment amenities? In Germany when you move into an apartment you have to put in a whole new kitchen; cabinets, sink, everything. Is there anything that they don't have in China ie I presume dishwashers don't come standard?
What a wonderful new home. I can just imagine you and your daughter out in the park area sketchingand taking photos. I'm so glad everything worked out.

Wow, the garden is beautiful! I hope you are going to like the new apartment. Is it pretty big inside? We are still trying to move. Have the house up on the market and only had 3 showing :( Oh well, the Lord know what he is doing and all we need to be is patient. What level are you living on? Does the apartment have elevators? If not you will be getting some good exercise. :)
Hope your first night was great. I'm so glad our Father provided for you. Isn't it neat when he gives us the desires of our heart...even if they might seem silly to others. He is good!

~^~Why "One Child Policy Homeschool"? I happen to have an only child, and I live in China. It is just my attempt at a witty name for the blog.
