Moving means getting to know a new city, finding new restaurants, and discovering new Crazy English! Here you go... enjoy some menu and restaurant related bloopers.
After you eat all that, you may need to visit this place.
But no matter what, just remember this...
For much more hilarious fun, visit Crazy English, where I've compiled all my Crazy English pics onto one photo gallery.
Yesterday on the radio they were talking about the Olympics in China and the part that made me laugh was that they said that the Chinese govt was trying to outlaw Chinglish......crazy English words that make no sense on clothing and signs. It made me think of you.
The report said that the crazy English found in China was an embarrassment and they thought that the media covering the Olympics would start making fun of them about the signs and clothing.
After reading your blog these past few years, I think it will be impossible to rid the country of all the crazy English. I think most people get a chuckle out of reading the mixed up stuff.
Thanks for making the world a smaller place.

I've been dying to ask...but didn't want to freak some reader out...Have you tried dog at a restaurant? I find that so interesting! There are many different 'acceptable' foods all over the world, and to us Americans, that's just SO taboo.
And please share if you are able to attend the Olympics. I would be riveted!
Oh, my, these always make me laugh. I love the one commentor who mentioned they were outlawing "Chinglish" - good luck with that! I do hope the reporters who might take notice of that will have a gentle sense of humor about that. Shoot - we'd do pretty poorly if we had to put so many of our signs in Chinese!
I'd like the Philip Beef Steak and a cup of your best Sweat Tea, please! *snort*
ROFLOL!!!!
That was SO hilarious! And the Herithy Life reminds me of the waiters that sang at the restaurant on A Christmas Story... remember? Fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra!
~^~Homeschooling my only child with a somewhat Charlotte Mason approach and a healthy dose of lapbooks, crafts, and field trips.
~^~Showcasing my photography hobby by sharing images of life in China.
~^~Why "One Child Policy Homeschool"? I happen to have an only child, and I live in China. It is just my attempt at a witty name for the blog.
