My friends keep telling me that I need to update my blog lol..we have been very busy keeping up with school, this last week I was sick with some kind of flu/cold stuff so I took a day off as I had no energy to do anything. It seems like everyday life is so busy and I just run out of time to do things, today Zachary had his reading at the Library and so I took some scrapbook projects with me. He is doing really well and has been working very hard.
Tomorrow were having a cooking day at our house as we are making a care package for a friend.
May you all be blessed with a wonderful weekend.

Dec. 24, 2007 Merry Christmas
Dec. 21, 2007 Merry Christmas from our Family to yours
Dec. 11, 2007 Greetings Friends
Wow! sometimes life just seems to get away from you, its been so long since I have posted here..thought about giving it up but, I enjoy writing my thoughts down. I will update everyone on our life and what has been going on with us.
We are keeping busy with school and the many other things that keep us busy..It seems like I am on a constant run taking everyone everywhere-but today at Whitney's Missionettes class the leader talked about committments and how we need to honor those committments no matter how tired we are..so I keep those committments to my children because some day they won't need me to run them everywhere..
Mondays-is Missionettes day
Tuesdays-Youth Group
Wensdays-Youth Group at our own church-but the next 3 weeks their off for Christmas..
Thursdays-is our Reading tutor day
Friday and Saturdays are pretty much free except for last minute things lol.
So that is what I have been up to lately..
My son is struggling in reading so we could use prayer in that area..
I am Thankful for the wonderful things the Lord is teaching me and doing in my life..I am thankful for my wonderful husband and my children..
I am Thankful for my wonderful friends that God has blessed me with through the interent. |

After school-the older kids had their youth groups and I took the kids out to eat once they were finished.

Yesterday I started back at reading in Psalms -I was at the Casting Crowns concert and Mark Hall talked about Psalms 1..lately I have been going through some things that were very hurtful to me but, the Lord promised me in Psalms 3:3 that he is a shield for me, my glory and the one who lifts up my head. I am so thankful to the Lord for his love and for promising me that he will take care of me in every situation in my life as long as I honor him in everything.
Today I am Thankful For:
The Lord and his everlasting Love
My Husband who is truly a gift from God
My Children who always make me laugh
And my friends who are truly blessings.

I am so Happy! It doesn't take much to make me happy-today I took my son to a Reading Tutor-needing a little extra help in that area..I was very pleased with the wonderful things she said to me about my son..Like what a sweet boy he was, yes I know he is but, having someone else see that in him really touched my heart..he does need alot of work in comprehension and also in some other area's but, she thought he would catch on quickly.
We got a little rough start today but, it ended up being really good.

Oct. 4, 2007 Ramblings of a Homeschool Mom
Yes, it is late or early in the morning but, I know I haven't posted since the beginning of school and thought I better write a little bit about us.
We have had a little bit of a change in our schedules, we found out that the program we were going to use just didn't fit our needs as a family and we went back to the traditional way of homeschooling. We are continuing using our pace program we used last year and then we will also include MOH and Apologia Science..
Last week we went to the park and did a school photo shoot and that was alot of fun.
We have also adopted a couple of kittens and we have been having fun with them.

Today we did Art along with some other things and Zachary and Whitney both made Self Portraits of themselves and learned about many different kinds of Art.
Today I am posting pictures of their Art.
