Aug. 13, 2008 Good Things Ahead
I really believe that the Lord has good things in store for us, I was really discouraged last year when I tried the K12 program, I didn't feel that I had the support that I needed, this year we are giving it another try and I am really encouraged by the Teacher my son has,she is very nice and helpful and I had the opportunity to talk with her yesterday for the first time. I found our first call to be very helpful and encouraging.

I am so Happy! It doesn't take much to make me happy-today I took my son to a Reading Tutor-needing a little extra help in that area..I was very pleased with the wonderful things she said to me about my son..Like what a sweet boy he was, yes I know he is but, having someone else see that in him really touched my heart..he does need alot of work in comprehension and also in some other area's but, she thought he would catch on quickly.
We got a little rough start today but, it ended up being really good.

Oct. 4, 2007 Ramblings of a Homeschool Mom
Yes, it is late or early in the morning but, I know I haven't posted since the beginning of school and thought I better write a little bit about us.
We have had a little bit of a change in our schedules, we found out that the program we were going to use just didn't fit our needs as a family and we went back to the traditional way of homeschooling. We are continuing using our pace program we used last year and then we will also include MOH and Apologia Science..
Last week we went to the park and did a school photo shoot and that was alot of fun.
We have also adopted a couple of kittens and we have been having fun with them.
