I have come to admire the people who drive these things. They are a powerful machine -- not a toy -- and it takes physical strength as well as coordination to manage them. I am not an athletic girl -- maybe that's my problem!
Isaiah all day yesterday kept saying, "Mom, you need to practice your motorcycle!"
My husband is being so patient. He didn't even laugh when I ended up in the neighbor's front yard. He did say, "better the yard than the pond." I hadn't even thought about landing in the pond! But I could have! Horrors!
I did learn how to steer around a big circle, going to the left. Turning is also scary!
You have got to know me to understand that I am not a motorcycle type of girl. I'm not athletic, and I'm more into ballet and symphonies than Harleys and hogs! I keep trying to remember why I thought this was a good idea. . .
I have to admit I'm a bit discouraged. I'm not accustomed to being a slow learner. I usually get things the first time -- and I'm not getting this at all! LOL. My husband is very encouraging and he didn't even tease me and he loves to tease. I think he is as puzzled as I am about why I want to do this!
