I have ridden 77 miles in 11 days on my motorcycle!
I just love riding that motorcycle. I am so thankful for it.
Tonight we rode for an hour - - my husband on his Harley and me praying like crazy on my new bike. I am still nervous when I start out riding. Then, about 30 minutes later, it just feels so good to be riding it!
We ride out in the country where the roads are mostly empty. I did have some traffic go around me and God kept me safe! I do pray a lot when I'm on my bike! :-)
We were gone a long time tonight. We had a babysitter, so we didn't have to worry about getting back to the boys quickly. (Usually one of them rides on the back of dad's bike. We can't keep them at home alone due to their disabilities.)
It was so nice to just ride until the sun went down.
Riding has taught me a lot about faith. It takes faith to put your feet up on those pegs and let the bike take off. It takes faith to believe when you lean into a turn you won't fall.
While we were riding tonight, I ran out of gas! But there is a reserve on that gas tank I came to find out. We turned a lever and that gave us enough gas to get home!
Isn't it great that God never runs out of grace? There is always plenty in reserve and it never, ever runs empty. His mercy endures forever.
There are just so many wonderful things to ponder on when you're riding a motorcycle!
The way you described your excitement/fear/enjoyment reminds me of horseback riding~I used to feel the same way every time I went for lessons growing up! So glad you're enjoying yourself so very much! (((((HUGS))))) sandi
