Happy 24th Wedding Anniversary, Honey!
24 years ago on December 3, 1982, I became Mrs. Eddie Akins. We had fun this weekend remembering the "good old days" and spending time with one another.
I feel sorry for people who don't make it this far in their marriage because they will never get to know how deep, and far-reaching this kind of love can be.
We didn't make it this far by ourselves. Were it not for the grace of God we wouldn't have made it past the first 24 days! We really didn't know one another very well before we got married. But, long story short, we had a deep love and passion for Jesus Christ and we had never met any other people like us!
I am so thankful that even in my naive ignorance about marriage, God blessed me with a wonderful husband, and a family to shower my love on. I love my dearest, most darling husband, more than I can ever put into words. I cannot imagine living without him!

I totally agree with you . . . God provides the grace that helps us overlook as those little things that can build up and explode a marriage. 24 years is a long time--congratulations to you and Eddie! My dh and I are on our 18th year!!!
The odds of a marriage surviving diffabilities in the autism spectrum are lower than a typical marriage. So, double congratulations for surviving that big test of your love for each other and for your children!!!
