Monday we went to Chicago with a bus tour to see the King Tut exhibit at the Field Museum. It was extraordinary and gave me a lot to ponder on. I still can't wrap my mind around all that wasted wealth.
Here is a picture of the kids after we finally got to the Museum:

It was the first time some of them had been on a tour bus and to the "big city" of Chicago. But I was tickled that they enjoyed the animal exhibits more than anything since we emphasize nature study! We were able to identify a lot of the animals from our studies without looking at the names. We were also looking for some of the rarer animals we had studied and it was fun to find them.
I have more pictures at http://homeschoolblogger.com/libertyscholars .

Do you know how long the exhibit is in Chicago? If it is at all possible, I am going there!!
Okay, the other reason I am here is because I have to tell you about my contest. I hope you can make it over ;) See ya soon,
