Let's Get Real

Pneumonia and Flu
It has been a week of testing for sure.  First, the twins got a horrible case of the stomach flu -- gushing at both ends.  They have autism and aren't completely in control of their faculties anyway, so you can just imagine the mess I had to clean up as they managed to grace the entire house with their emissions.  (Ewwwwww.)

I have pneumonia and am not feeling well at all.  My house is falling down around my ears.  The Christmas tree is missing some part that goes between the bottom and the top of the tree so the top of it is tilted over and looks like something out of a Dr. Suess book.

We could use your prayers!

Dec. 18, 2006 - Hope You Feel Better

I thought I had it bad! I had a cold last month and recovered in time for the Christmas music season (I sing). Ten days ago I got a sore throat, sang when I shouldn't have (long story short--this might be the last Christmas concert for our ailing director), had laryngitis all week, but recovered in time to sing for another concert last night, which included one solo!

You win the prize though with the flu and pneumonia!! I'll be praying for you and your dear ones to get better soon!!!!

Oh, no! I'm praying y'all feel better soon! It is so not fun when everyone is sick... and some sicknesses are *definitely* more difficult than others!! ;-)

You are having a terrible week, please take this week to be kind and loving to yourself, everything else can wait. One Christmas eve one by one we started to get sick, the flu. It would hit 2 then they would be better and then 2 more and so on until Christmas night. Everyone was to come over to celebrate so the relatives picked up the food and a few well kids and celebrated while we went through out cylce. That Christmas was more memorable but it turned out to be very special for honoring Jesus.
