Sad News
Our little unborn grandbaby died in our daughter-in-law's tummy.  Please pray for us.  This is sad news, indeed.  We are comforted knowing that the baby is with Jesus now, but we miss him already, you know?  It's just very hard and we would really appreciate your prayers.

Karla, I am deeply sorry for your family as this is tough. The pain is great but will heal. When I lost my little one we put the memory box together for it with the remains. It was a healing thing for us. I will pray for your pain and trust in God during all this that things will get better.

Feb. 27, 2007 - prayers

Hi, I came across your blog while checking out my sister in law's... (eagle's nest news)
First, let me express my sympathy... It is a very sad thing. My husband and I lost our 4th child this way (we have 6). We will definately pray for you.
Secondly, let me just tell you that your daughter- in - law is very lucky to have you as a mother, and a grandmother to her children. We live in a society that does not acknowledge the unborn, much less the pain of losing your baby. I think that is a very painful aspect of miscarriage, the feeling that others do not care as much as you. I like the idea of keeping a memory book (we did), and also to remember the day, or even the due date, as these times are hard. Even a little card in the mail, saying you remember is a great gesture. She may not feel it now, but she is blessed. Blessed with supportive family, and in time will realize the spiritual reality that as a mother our job is to make sure our children get to heaven, and her work with that little one is done. How wonderful that God used them in that special way to add one more soul to his army. Our hearts go out to you and your family.
